Droping Amazing Spider-Man

Nope. See, ASM happens outside of what we consider normal continuity. Anything else that's going on has no bearing on what's happening in this comic book.

Get out of here you freaking troll.

Anyway, the things that changed because of OMD are the following:

1. Something went wrong with the wedding day (they will explain stuff)

2. Somehow, Harry didn't die in Spec. Spidey 200. It will be explained too.

3. The times Peter said the word "wife", its actually "girlfriend":cwink:

Everything else still happened.

I dropped this for Madame Mirage a long time ago.

Two things I really haven't liked about BND so far are..

Menace: Great another Goblin.

Freak: Not even an interesting villain IMO.

I don't really like the Jackpot thing either but I at least want to see where it's going.

Menace has been the most interesting Goblin since the days of the original Hobgoblin, in my opinion.

Even though there was a good run with Harry as GG during the DeMathiess/Buscema run, I've never thought of Harry as a serious threat to Spidey, so even though the stories were good, it's hard to take Harry seriously as the Green Goblin... again, in my opinion.

:yay:

I liked the look of Menace and I do think he is probably the best Goblin since Hobgoblin but sh-t, how many more Goblins do we need?

It's classic Spidey, dude. Classic Spidey = Green Goblin knock-offs. Can't have one without the other.

Spidey's exciting again! Everything old is new!!!111

okay, now that was sarcasm in case you're wondering.

Haha, no, you can't. Pff, classic Spidey without goblins, he says. Next you're gonna be talking crazy talk like Spider-Man can mature and get married and ****. Quit talking crazy, crazy guy. :D

The third exclamation point gave it away.

Crazy talk? Like maybe introducing a Goblin without a cliche Goblin mystery behind him/her? Yeah, that's crazy talk.

He shouldn't. That would age him, and by extension, age Pete seeing as they're the same age. What a load. :o

No, Harry's age doesn't matter because he's not meant to be relatable. Remember, old people aren't relatable, but having old friends is.

Personally, I think Menace and Freak are very interesting. I mean, not only is Menace cool looking, but he's also very menacing and we haven't seen such awesome things like that since Hobgoblin.

Theres no such thing as age in the marvel universe if there was, any of the heroes we currently read about would have been dead YEARS ago. I pretty much think age is thrown out the window in comics.

Well, there's relative age. You know Reed Richards is older than Johnny Storm, for example, because he's consistently portrayed as older.

Menace definitely looks cool.

You can keep the spirit of classic Spidey alive without introducing a new Goblin for the umpteenth time.

You can keep the spirit of classic Spidey without a lot of ****in' stupid things, but that don't mean Quesada ain't doing all those stupid ****in' things.

Menace definitely looks cool.

He looks like Norman Osborne went on a bender in the back aisle of a Hot Topic.

I think he looks like an extra in Big trouble in little china.

You know instead of creating Menace,Why didn't they just use Hobgoblin instead seeing as he hasn't been used in like a decade.

probably because they thought giving us a classic villain to let us know continuity is still intact after OMD was a BAD idea.
