LOL ya i dont think the plant means anything. Just showing that it's a dead winter, with no life to it. Or not even that. Did it even make it on screen??
You don't know what nod meansomg..
I never even realized that. Who woulda known that Mr.Freeze was the one who froze the ice in tdkr.

And what if Gordon's mustach is actually a nod to The Joker, as we all know Cesar Romero used to play the joker without shaving his mustach?
not sure where to post this but i guess it fits here. I just read that there a cafe/restaurant named alfredo sull'arno and it fits the description (location - "on the banks of the arno") that alfred gave of the cafe that he goes to.
Batman sacrificing himself was also a nod to the avengers ending; proving DC is planning a marvel crossover!
Well, i posted evidence showing they were the same in both films, but I didn't realize you couldn't post bootleg stuff. Either way, the flashlights are the same.It wasn't the same exact light.
Bruce had a flashlight, Blake had some kind of glowstick or blacklight or something like it.
Edit: I think I have it the other way around. Blake had the flashlight.
I once read an article comparing tdk with batman 89 and the similarities between the two.
For example both films feature the genesis and death of a major batman villain the joker and two face respectively. They both are the only medium in which jokers makeup isn't permawhite etc. I didn't notice anything like that in this film but did anyone else get a batman returns vibe from the stock exchange escape? Hoppin the barricades on the motorcycles immediately brought to mind the beginning of batman returns for me.
Tom Hardy being short, fat and bald
That's...probably more casual and touristy than the Nolans had intended. Not sure where to post this but I guess it fits here. I just read that there a cafe/restaurant named Alfredo Sull'Arno and it fits the description (location - "on the banks of the Arno") that Alfred gave of the cafe that he goes to.
What the hell are you talking about?
But...Hardy didn't appear as "short" in the movie, and far from fat....He's comparing Tom Hardy to Danny DeVito as another Returns parallel.

Heh, pretty cool kvz5.Not sure where to post this but I guess it fits here. I just read that there a cafe/restaurant named Alfredo Sull'Arno and it fits the description (location - "on the banks of the Arno") that Alfred gave of the cafe that he goes to.
Yeah, that talk pretty much disappeared once the movie came out. Just how people foolishly doubted Anne could play Selina. Going from one of their biggest 'concerns' of the movie, to most people's standout performer.People *cough*beastmode*cough* claiming Hardy was too short and not muscular and chubby to play Bane before the film came out. For the record, I don't think that.
