The Dark Knight Rises Easter Eggs in DKR

Hey guys, new here, and if this thread gets closed down, I understand because its probably been talked about....

BUT....

During batman's 8 yrs we dont see, do you guys think that we will hear or see names or references of older Batman villains he has taken on during the 8 missing years?

Like, maybe Oswald Cobblepot....or Barbara Gordon as a young woman?

Just an idea I thought they may throw in....because I hope during his 8 years we do not see that he was taking on miocre and challenging Villains. I hate to see a 2nd rate villain like Mr. Zsazz get screen time, but yet, The Riddler, Penguin, and Hush not even be mentioned in the Nolan Series.

I kind of don't think so. Nolan seems more inclined to include original characters not from the comics (Earle in BB; Gamble, Ramirez and a couple of other cops in TDK, Blake in TDKR).

However, some of the cop characters in TDK really did seem like standins for comics characters like Montoya and Bullock. Other than those, Zsasz seems like the only cameo/easter egg thrown into the franchise.

Well supposedly the film will span over a long period of time with flashbacks and even in the main story, but I doubt there will be any scenes at easter. In the trailer, it shows Batman about to fight Bane in the snow, so I would say Christmas presents.

There's no real solid info that Batman will even be entirely active in all of these 8 years or that there will be flashbacks.

I think there might be small indications here and there but nothing outright.

This is what I imagined during my first viewing of TDK. That some random SWAT dude can totally "accidentally" cut Joker down prematurely.

The easter eggs we've gotten so far hasn't been real easter eggs at all really. The only one I can think of is basically Zsasz. It could have been anyone sitting there but the chose a known villain. So I dont think we will get any. Sadly.

Do references to the previous films count as Easter eggs? And I don't mean the explicit flashbacks. More along the lines of having both Bat-caves in the film. Or the kid who steals an apple (BB and TDKR). Stuff like that.
