I don't understand why cosplayers use such bright fabric colors. This would look a little better if it used more natural reds and not highlighter colors. I don't like the design all that much though.

It looks comics faithful. Unfortunately, I don't think that's a realistic discussion to have. It isn't going to be literally the comics costume and I'd argue it shouldn't be either.

No thanks. She already ruined one Marvel character. I'm hoping they pick an actress we don't expect but fits perfectly like they did with Charlie Cox as Daredevil.

I'd also add, chemistry with Charlie Cox would be helpful too. Also, someone who can play a cold-blooded assassin in the present, but a wild at heart student in flashbacks with Cox.

Genesis Rodriguez

She has some really impressive acting chops so if Marvel wanted to spin her off into her own series, they could easily do so.

She speaks fluent Spanish which is good if Elektra Assassin is adapted considering that the first half of that story takes place in South America.

She's great with accents so she can conceivably do the parts where she's speaking Greek and Japanese very well.

She's also young enough that she could play Elektra for a good 15-20 years.

I want to know not why your choice should by chosen but why she shouldn't be?

I really wouldn't mind seeing Olivia Wilde. She does the sinister look really well. She's Charlie's age (perfect since we know they were in college together). She's beautiful and she looks fairly exotic. At least to the extent that Elektra needs to. And she's a good actress. Despite doing some sub-par movies lately.

Olga Kurylenko would be my second choice.

Apparently, Louisa Mignone and Shiva Kalaiselvan tested for the role. Their audition tapes were leaked online, then pulled.

Mignone can pass for Greek; Shiva not so much.

I'm hoping Elektra appears but I need to take this with a grain of salt.

Maybe they're looking for "unknowns" deliberately. Also, I'd be on Elektra appearing in this season (not 100%, but it's more likely than not imo). Now that they've gotten a lot of the "origin" stuff out of the way, they can start introducing more elements from the DD comics. Plus, they pretty blatantly referenced her already.

It also adds a new complication/wrinkle to Matt's life both as DD AND "Matt Murdock." This is especially true if:

-She's been hired to kill DD.
-The writers plan of developing the Matt/Karen dynamic more in S2.

I think unknowns in the sense of people like Deborah Ann Woll and Charlie Cox, not unknowns as in people without even a wikipedia stub.

Well we do know that we'll be getting more villains from the comics. Too many of the Season 1 villains were created just for the show. I'm happy to see that Elektra, Gladiator and Bullseye are pretty much sure things for Season 2. My only hope is that we also get Kirigi and Eric Slaughter as well just to complete Frank Miller's original run for this season.

Or Frank Miller's original run but skip Elektra's ressurection and save that for Season 4. Season 3 should be the Ann Nocenti run + Born Again.

I'd like to think they'll go for a bigger name for Elektra. Sofia Boutella and Olga Kurylenko are my top 2 choices. In fact, my only choices as of now.
