I'd rather see Genesis Rodriguez since Marvel would hopefully be looking to spin Elektra off into her own series and she has serious chops plus she's good with accents. We're talking about a character who has to speak with American, Greek and Japanese accents + probably others depending on her mission in order to blend in.

Honestly a lot of these choices could work. Katrina Law and Sofia Boutella are my top 2 right now. But we've got time to sort that out since we won't be seeing Elektra until Season 2 at the earliest (if there's a season 2 of course).

Also, even an optimistic two per year still means 2017 or 2018 for Elektra. So plenty of time.

Gina Carano would be terrible, either as Elektra or She-Hulk.

She-Hulk, for starters, is much taller than the average woman. She would have to be easily over 6 ft. Carano looks short and stocky. Also, She-Hulk is an eloquent lawyer who would, like Daredevil, have to be able to convey the intellectual side to be convincing as an attorney. Carano couldn't do that.

As for Elektra, Carano would just seem too much like a brute. She's only really any good in those brute/ killing machine type roles. Elektra needs to be much more slender and lithe than Carano, and someone who looks like they could do acrobatics/ gymnastics.

Yeah, it was a sad character death, she was very popular amongst the fans of that show.

I imagine this series will be pretty violent too, compared to the network comic book shows I watch, like Agents of Shield and The Flash.

Not that I'd want Daisy Ridley to play her but here's an idea of how they could do her comic outfit without making it look cheesy or XXX like.

That would look really cool, yeah. The costume of the other hand guy in the first season wouldn't be bad either, but that one stands out and is more interesting without being overly sexualized.
