Im a fan and I wasnt dissapointed...people just need to realize that the x-men are people too meaning that they can die...it would be soo unreal if they didnt die......That's what one of my friends said before he saw X3 "can they die"-I said yes.... and he was happy because it makes it soo much more real..Im not crying because I dont know if Pyro is alive or not... and he is my fav. character!!! the movies have never followed the comics from X-men 1 and X3 followed thecomics more than X1 and X2..there was, Storm flying, The Bridge scene, the Danger Room, Fastball Special, the cure, ..I mean come on at least it focused on the cure!! Urgggg some people(fans) make me soo upset when they complain and complain about this movie........... Anyways back to Emma Frost dont forget she has also been in the X-men Legends games so anyone who played knows her from that to.

I don't get it. They give a Character a Solo Movie the General Public more then likely has no idea even exist instead of using actual known & likeable Characters from the Movie Its funny FOX says Gambit is to big of a Character to have some kind of Cameo role to introduce him in. Why not give GAMBIT (a character the general public should be famaliar with) his own Movie to NICELY & PERFECTLY INTRODUCE HIM & then bring him into X4

did anyone know who blade was? his character is even more obscure than emmas and at least emma has a team backround to fall back on, blade was all on his own and he made it, the problem here is how these writers try to protray women, emma is not the problem, they could have her in her early years as the white queen being pure evil, showing the death of the original hellfire club at the hands of her and sebastion and possibly facing the x-men a few times, with younger actors playing their rolls, and with different costumes, and all her hardship, her fallen students, you can even bring in the sentinals here, and then maybe they could make history itself, by exploring how she left, im sure it wouldnt be easy to leave the hellfire, they could show them trying to kill her only for her at the end scene showing up at the x-mansion gate with louis vuitton luggage

what about that chick who played Shanon in "lost"? Her character kind of reminded me of Emma.
But yeah this is pretty much a horrible decision on behalf of Fox, first off its a character noone outside of the fanbase knows, secondly most people in the fanbase don't even like her, and third female superhero solo movies in general do not do that well at the box office.

actually youre wrong on two accounts, there are people who know who she is outside of the fan base, second, why would she even be mentioned for having her own movie if most people in the fanbase dont like her? that doesnt even make sense in bizarro world, for the past few years her popularity has become bigger than most x-men regulars, i mean if shes possibly going to have her own movie, come on, its not like its a sammy the fish boy movie, in the past two to three years shes been in how many titles and reoccuring in the unlimited series, her own series, X-4, manga x-men then also appearing in new avengers, wolverine, ultimate x-men, a major roll in house of m, and now civil war, four statues, two figures with another on the way, a few covers on wizard(at least 5), voted hottest comicbook female character, shall i go on? and dont forget that if x3 what directed by singer she probably would have been in it, so i say thats alot for under 2 or 3 years, especially coming from where she was

Emma Frost movie? Noo, i'd like to see a spin-off of, for example, Mistique, so we'd see Nightcrawler, Rogue and etc....but if they do a good job i'll be happy and i'll watch as any other X-Men movie.

I'd love to see Emma in the xfilms firstly, not alone. Because if she gets her own film before x4, then in X4 or next she'll be the same actress and role, I mean, in the xfilm, she woudn't be created specially for the film, and if the Emma of the spin-off is a bad role, actress, idea, etc, it won't be great in X4 then.

As much as I love Emma, and would love to watch a 100 min movie starring a hot, half naked blonde girl, I highly doubt that anyone outside of the fans would care about her.

Even slapping the X-Men tag on it wouldn't help awareness of the character.

I see another Catwoman ,Elektra, Bardwire, Aeon Flux...Emma Frost movie will suck....I love her in the comics but puttin her in a solo-movie will no one know about her..Wolverine is justified in his own movie cause his comic sells and is very popular...Emma frost is a team player like all the other X-men and shouldn't get her own movie

i think the "emma" movie will in fact be the x4. a sort of generation x type thing. don't know if her students will be the hellions or xavier's. would be interesting though. and yea, i'd vote for tricia as emma.

I think an Emma Frost movie would be a mistake as well. I also think Magneto, and Wolverine movie is a mistake too. Beause Wolverine is the main character in ever x movie. Im sick of him, and hs character isnt that interesting. And they should save Emma Frost for another X men movie. I think Elisha Cuthbert from the girl next door is the perfect Emma Frost.
