Full soundtrack details.

Three different versions of the title song. The first by Emma Thompson, the finale with Thompson, Audra McDonald, and the ensemble, and then the Grande/Legend pop version.

The 2-CD version includes Menken's score on the second disc.

Disney has released the full audio of Ariana Grande/John Legends' rendition of "Beauty and the Beast."

Beat me to it! :argh:

Disappointed that it wasn't the orchestral version from the trailer. :(

The vocals are okay, but the instrumental on that sounds like it's from a karaoke version of the Celine Dion/Peabo Bryson song.

The more I listen to it, the more I don't like it. The instrumental just kills it.

You can't improve on perfection.

Peabo was giving me life! He even drowned out Celine and her showboating ass.

The instrumentals in that clip are awful, the orchestra sounded better.

If they used the same instrumental arrangement the Dion/Pearson version used, it would be so much better.

Eh, I didn't care for it. I will admit though Grande sounds way better than I thought she would. I am not a fan of her music at all.

That or the version we got in the trailer (which people are speculating was a rerecording made for it specifically). I'm actually surprised that Legend was the one having enunciation issues (he's running the words together in his first few lines and leaving off certain syllables in words).

Damn. Song with orchestral much better. What is it in clip? Awful...

Oh man, i was so excited for them to release "tale as old as time", but this version doesnt come close to the one from the trailer.
Really dissapointed now.

Its still a good song however.

hard to tell is that Ariana's version in trailer 2 but with better music?

I'm surprised by how not-great the Beast looks CGI-wise.

He's not a chimera, he's basically a mutant. I suspect if he looked too animalistic it'd come off a little creepy.

I think they're aiming a little low just to be safe. In regards to previous March opening weekends, The Hunger Games opened with $152 million in March 2012. I could see this doing better than that.

It's doing phenomenal pre-sales, and I think it will easily sail past Hunger Games and BvS' opening numbers.

I'm going to say it now: $175M opening weekend, $500M final domestic total and $1.2B worldwide.

I finally got around to watching the new trailer, it does look very beautiful, like a painting come to life.

I think they were talking about the quality of the animation itself, which isn't the greatest.

I'm not a fan of the quality or the design of the Beast in general. I know he can't be too scary for the kiddie's sake, but I would've preferred a little bit more beast than human.

Masterpiece. :ilv:
