You know, one thing I didn't quite get in this episode, is why did Chloe exchange herself for Oliver?
I really don't see how that was a logically sound/intelligent/sane move.
I know Allison is only going to be in 5 episodes, but having Chloe be kidnapped? And possibly tortured for info?
Not a tactically brilliant plan on Chloe's part, or the writer's part.
I'm not a big fan of it, really, mostly because it doesn't really make sense.
She knows where he was from the vision, I assume, so why not send in Clark or even the Martian Manhunter to get him out? Did the vision tell her to do it?
Or did she go insane from putting on the helmet, and only slowly showed signs of it?
I mean, once Oliver figures out where she is, he's pretty much going to rescue her at all costs.
So, Chloe's endangering him and whoever else he uses to rescue her by doing this.
Again, not a sound plan at all. You don't give yourself to your enemy in exchange for someone who is not the King, to borrow the Chess term. Especially when you're pretty much the Queen.
I know she and Oliver "love" each other, but this is still not a very extremely bright move to do for Chloe. At all. Especially when the end result could be worse than the Coast City bombing in the comics.
"We must break you."
Chloe will not be able to resist the technics employed by Checkmate/the Suicide Squad, etc.
Unless she dies, she's going to cause problems with all the info she has.
I know, I should just wait and see, but we have to wait until the 13th episode for the reason Chloe did this. That's a long time to fix this mess.
I don't know how they will either. But I hope they do it well.
