Episode 6: "The Evil Within" Review Thread

Actually I think they're trying to take the show down the road of the comic a bit in exploring the different types of vampires. They were in Europe after all so there are bound to be different breeds. Stronger, being closer to the origin and all.

I'd like to see some winged ones too. Some that look pure animal. Not all vampires can blend in and that should be explored.

And I want to see a Reaper! They can be written into it...somehow.

And it doesn't have to nessesarily be a supernatural thing--the regular vampires have super-strength and agility, right? I could see one doing that on a small plane like that. Besides, I've seen regular people do stuff like that before, so it's not THAT much of a stretch.

I liked it. I want to see what the juicy stuff is that was in the woman.
It will be interesting to see the new plot line with Blade's Pops. I still think Sticky sucks as Blade though.

Wait, so this show is actually getting better?
That's cool to hear

Yeah but Blade's still getting his ass kicked.:(

i'm liking this show more and more with each new episode... sticky's doing a better job everytime out, too. it seems like he's getting more comfortable playing the character.

I really wanted to see this past weeks episode. It was around 9:30 wednesday night, and I was anticipating the show and the damn cable went out. In N.Y the heat was causing alot of power to go out and my cable suffered from that URGH!!!!! Can someone tell me or even pm me about what happened last week? Thank you!!!!

iceberg, check the 'download the pilot' thread, I keep it up-to-date with all the Blade episodes in both .avi and .mov formats. Just got episode 6's ones up earlier today.

I agree. I like the show, and I want more focus on the Blade character, but I think Sticky is a bad Blade.

I can think of 5 actors that would have pulled off the role better. I think his casting decision will go down as one of the most perplexing in history.:(

There were more established actors that could have been Blade. However, there is still the feeling among some actors that going from the silver screen to the small is a step backwards. That could account for some guys not really being in the mix for the part.

That being said, I think Sticky is improving each week. It's got to be hard to follow in the shoes of a legend like Snipes but Jones is holding his own on the screen.

I saw the first 30 minutes of the "Delivery" episode and fell asleep. I don't have a TiVo and I never could catch it again so could someone give me a full summary of the last half hour(from when Blade and the pregnant woman was in the tunnel)?

terrific episode but the fight scenes are REALLY starting to grate. if they aren't tense, aren't exciting, aren't FUN then it is pointless having them.

I'm watching blade now for the plotline and the character development rather than the action. WTF!? what's up with that? I've entered the twilight zone

do do do do
do do do do

I actually like the fact that in the series, Blade is not as invincibe as his movies counterpart.

The fact that Blade in the movies was so untouchable, and that he can pretty much kicked anyone's ass was a big turn off for me.The fight scenes in the movies....no matter how good choreographed it was...just wasn't exciting to me knowing that blade will easily defeated his opponents. After a while it became irritating to me.

the second blade movie, i was actually rooting for Nomack to kick his ass.

Furthermore, i don''t think the style of fighting that was used in the movie will fit in the series.Judging by the episodes so far, they were shooting for the realistic approach and the techno fueled,kung-fu fighting syle of the movie will just feel out of place in the tv series.

Man, Charlotte caves quickly doesn't she? It's surprising and I think she wants to eat Marcus.

;-)
