I would like to see Erica as MJ, but MJ is a damsel in distress in these movies, and I just cant see Erica like that, shes to powerful. I dunno...its a toughy...

well if they could always i think continue on with the movies, but change the way characters act as new actors portray them. and the way erica acts as lois lane is quite a bit i find, the way mj should be portrayed. shes got bite

Harsh, but basically true. Erica is 28 years old, but she looks about 32. She's attractive and has big implants, but she's not young enough to take over as Mary Jane after Kirsten leaves the franchise.

A future MJ should be around 18-23 at this point, taking into account that filming on SM4 would hypothetically take place in 2008-09.

is that a bad thing, I think if they did a recast, it would be a good opportunity to cast closer to the look of the comics (which I personally never felt that Dunst had)

as for age, I guess if they did a recast, they would probably wanna go younger, so that they can use them in future sequels, though, I guess it also depends on who they cast as peter
Dunst is like 6-7 years younger then Tobey, so, they, wouldn’t have to go much younger, someone around her age would still work, even if they cast a (4-5 years) younger peter

but, do you think, they would want to find look-a-likes, of the current cast, or would they go for a closer to the comic look, or just base it on acting ability, and personality
