Eva Longoria to be in the Avengers?

I must say, she's probably the last person I would have expected for Wasp. Are they casting this movie without anyone knowing?

I'm just curious, who did you expect? She's exactly the type of actress I expected.

Who knows what she's using the comics for? If it's research for a role then it's hard to say what movie since Marvel are cross-pollinating their films.

Wasp seems like a good guess OR is it possible that she's researching the role of Maya Lopez aka Echo? Don't know much about the character but like Longoria Echo is of latino descent and she's featured on the cover of one of the comics she's holding in her hands.

Now if she's jsut in talks for the random love interest in the Ant-Man movie, then I don't think I'd care much, but for Wasp? Or any of the other Avengers? Total downgrade.

Take another look at the article posted. She was very definitely coming out of the Marvel offices.

However, just because she was there doesn't mean she will be casted. She could just be in talks or throwing her name in the ring. And she may not be the Wasp. She may just be up for "spunky SHIELD agent".

Seen her in Over Her Dead Body, The Sentinel, and Desperate Housewives, and just cuz it's a bad show doesn't mean that actors can't at least do their job. I like Felicity Huffman, Teri Hatcher and James Denton in it, even though their material isn't that great.

Ah, I see. Well, getting a look at some of those comics in her hand, all are recent, can't tell what the second one is, could be another avengers book. Possibly one of the Annuals. Wasp hasn't been in any other avengers books except Mighty Avengers, and that book hasn't had an Annual as far as I know. So it's more likely another New Avengers. The other book looks like one of those kiddie Marvel books, which could be anything. Assuming it's the Avenger book, it still wouldn't have anything to do with Wasp, seeing as she's not in that book either. (They made up a character in place of the Pyms.)

So, it's a good chance she's got nothing to do with Wasp and judging by the books in her hand, more to do with Echo. Which was mentioned earlier. The conclusion of it being Wasp was a good guess, but likely waaaayy off. And Echo wouldn't in an Avengers movie. At least not yet, or God forbid they take some serious liberties with the source material. She might, however be in a Daredevil movie.

And yes of course, she could have simply dropped by for something else entirely and they just gave her whatever they had lying around.
