Ah, but Jesus put an end to all this, and the stoning was in extremely rare cases. I believe it was documented everytime it happened in the Old Testiment, which was less than 5 occassions in history. The muslims do this regularly. Big difference.

Not to mention, once Jesus came, all that was put to an end. Now we are under grace, and we are called to forgive and repent, not kill.

no, not at all, stoning was in case a rape victim didn't cry out and all sorts of situations, infidelity and such.

but, I have a question, all the time between the creation and the coming of jesus, god was A-ok with stoning, which means that there's no moral reason why people shouldn't stone eahc other for punishment right?

god created EVERYTHING right, not only that, but he is all knowing and seeing and knows what will happen till THE END OF TIME ITSELF.
he knew that this perversion of his truth would happen and he ALLOWED IT TO HAPPEN, and the fact that he knew in advance means that it plays a part in his plan, if it plays a part in his plan it's part of his creation, it wouldn't exist if not for his will, therefore, god created both sin and evil.

I will answer it. That actually has zero to do with actual Christian Doctrine. It was people, ingorant people -- and greedy people that controlled those ignorant people, that did what they wanted to do...did what all humans do given the chance. Anyway.

If I bought a new car, and took it out of the dealership and crashed it, then brought it back and said "why did you sell me a broken car"

The dealership would kick me out and tell me they gave it to me in perfect condition. Humanity ruined the world by sin.

i know that if i lift a heavy box without bending my knees ill mess up my back, but its not because i am perverted with sin. i am aware of the process of aging and yeah if i buy a new car and wreck it its not the dealers fault..but if i buy a new car and lets say....the motor mount is welded to a weak part of the frame, then they would do a recall...unless they were a perfect dealership....then they wouldnt do anything about it because then they would not be seen as perfect... thats just one of the many examples...we still havent gotten into how ugly people are

The Book gave them the free pass to force feed its message to people who already had their own way of living.

If it wasn't three am I'd stick a quote in here about how the word must be spread and the message must get through.

I asked Venom another question earlier about missionaries. He said that every man on earth has the inherit knowledge of the Judeo-Christian God. (No I can't spell it right this time of day.) If that's so then why ar they're missionaries? What are they doing, if man already knows of God. And if if we hafe free-will then why are they trying to change minds?

If Christians who repent "get outta jail free" then you expect me to belive that someone who rapes and pillages until the day of thier death, and moments before the bright light they say "Oops my bad, God. I repent. Jesus I :heart: you." They get the pearly gates????

Where as harmless knowledge seekers or children who know not, get fire and brimstone???

i personally find the scientific theory the correct theory. However, I do believe some parts of the religious theory are also correct..well just one really, Adam and Eve. except I believe Adam and Eve were African and Adam could've beem more than one person and their kids ended up migrating to other places and then their offspring did so and so on and so on..so on.
