The Dark Knight Exclusive TDK Set Report #3 8/13

I wish this teaser wasn't coming out with a movie I dont give a damn about
Agreed. But I may just go if it doesn't hit online. TDK is too big for me.

It's like going to a party and seeing some cute chick that seems pretty boring, so you pass. Then you find out later on, she's drunk and vulnerable, so like...now you're just forced to--- I had a point there, but I kinda just babbled about nothing. :(

Not Pandas. CORPSE PAINT.

Some people do it WRONG, and paint designs on their face. The purpose is to emulate the appearance of death and invoke evil!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corpse_paint

Looking back to the first appearance of the Joker and the descriptions used then, it wouldn't shock me if the darkening of the eyes back then was intentionally used to portray a deathly character. (they do have one of the original creators as a consultant)

I just wonder how he's going to look from the beginning. Will his unmasking at the Bank robbery present a Joker with "corpse paint?" Are we going to see a transition in the Joker through this movie?

Obviously, this chase scene currently being filmed is something in the middle to the end of the movie.

heis hands may be flesh color, because if in that particular scene he was shooting doesnt show his hands or he wears gloves. Think about it, would u want makup all over ur hands if there not even going to be seen?
but i could be wrong.

By the wasy GREAT JOB on the set report.

I was just thinking... should I start like an "Official Joker Sightings Thread", where I post all of the Joker pics we have so far so that if people are looking for the pics or whatever they can just find them there? Then I could fill more in as we get more pics.

What do you guys think?

I'm kind of self-conscious on starting threads...

Is that red on his nose? If it is my guess is that it may be apart of his clown disguise or perhaps a blood spatter; I'll probably say clown because I sort of see a hint of red near his cheek bone.

I was just thinking that. I hope the crazy ass smile makeup is part of the disguise.

I gotta apologize for this first, sorry, but Ledger jokers look, sort of kind of reminds me a lil bit of this version of the joker from an episode of The Batman;

I'm not trying to start a pro/con discussion of The Batman, I'm just saying, theres a little bit of a similarity. Fun. :joker:

Eery similarity. Which episode is that from?

The Joker from The Batman cartoon looks much better than his design from the 1st season. Is that his new design?

No, thats just a one-time design from an episode called "The Laughing Bat" in season two I believe. Where the Joker pretends to be Batman, thats sort of his Bruce Wayne look.

I agree i love his redesign and it does look similar does NOLAN WATCH THE BATMAN EVERY SATURDAY MORNING!?

It would be cool if that was his redesign, but sadly it was a one time thing. Though come to think of it, Nolan does have a lil one, so ya never know, he just might watch it. Than again you don't need a child to enjoy cartoons :joker:

Okay, me again. I've heard some silly stuff said here, so let me help end some of the speculation.

1.) There is no red on Joker's nose. Period.

2.) Joker wears gloves, his hands are only exposed prior to filming.

3.) Joker's hair is almost all green. Yellow Chicago streetlights alter the color a little.

4.) It is LARGELY questionable if his make-up is self-applied. There are no close-ups in the chase scenes from what I saw, so let's not panic here, there's ALOT still to left to see with Joker. Trust me.

The Noirman strikes again! Thanks.

Like I said earlier in the thread, I'd be surprised if we got any answers toward this end. If Joker comes out and confirms it in dialogue, or we see him actually applying it, then fine. But knowing Nolan, I wouldn't be surprised if he just left it hanging and let the audience decide whether he applies it or it's permanent.

Oh crap, not again! Look what happened the last time you did that. Didn't we give you enough pills to keep you from thinking?

:oldrazz: :oldrazz: :oldrazz:

I must be over-tired, hahaha!
TEOL, I just noticed this post. LOL!!!
