I heard a commercial on the radio for tonight's SV ep and they said that Dean Richards, a local entertainment reporter, is going to have a special behind the scenes of SV report on the 9pm news tonight.

I'm going to Tivo it, but while I can transfer and view my Tivo recordings on my PC, I still can't figure out how to share them. I don't think it's possible.

Maybe I'll throw in a videotape, if I can find one.

Are you serious? Transfering your TV stuff to a PC IS the hard part. You've got Windows, so you have Windows Movie Maker on your pc. That program is like "video encoding for monkeys."
Then use a site like Rapid Share to transfer the file to anyone that wants it.

Sorry, but this monkey needs a bit more help than that.

For one thing, I don't think I have WMM on this PC.. I think my dad may have deleted it. My dad's nuts, long story. The problem is, the Tivo Desktop transfers the recording, but then you use WMP10 to play it... and I think they have it safeguarded so that it can't be shared. Or maybe I just can't figure out how to.

I'll go look around Tivo.com.. Maybe I can get some answers there.
(edit: so after looking around it seems that I need to d/l something that will unlock the .tivo files and convert them to .mpg. Wish me luck)

I thought so too. Erica does a fantastic job acting like a head strong Lois, and it's hard at times to read what her eyes, body language, sighs, etc, means.
