UPDATED 1/27/09: Title Posted. Please do not repost this on other webstes without a link to KryptonSite.com.
- The four characters that appear in this episode are Clark, Chloe, Lois, and Jimmy.
- Chloe and Lois finally get some hanging-out "cousin time" until they are attacked by two thugs. Lois takes one of them down with her stiletto heels (hence the title of the episode?) and begins to feel like a bit of a superheroine herself. The other, however, gets away with Chloe's car which has some very sensitive information inside.
- Lois recruits Jimmy for photography help to convince others that "Stiletto" is Metropolis' newest heroine so she can have the exclusive and then bring the Red-Blue Blur out of hiding. When Clark finds out about this, he tells Lois that she's a better reporter than one who would lie to advance her career.
UPDATED 1/19/09: Erica Durance (Lois) DOES appear in this episode.

...Really? ..............Really?

I could've sworn this was going to be a joke thread.

Really?

God, this sounds like one of the worst ideas I've ever heard.

I was actually hoping they would do a episode focused with Lois, Clark and Jimmy working at the DP and this seems like it might be that.

Going by the descriptions of this and Eternal though looks like very likely we will get a Season 9(both don't seem like series ending kind of episodes)

yeah I think this pretty much confirms that Welling has signed for a 9th season.

This may end up being one of the most laughable SV episodes ever.

I actually thought it sounded interesting.

Maybe you have to be a girl to appreciate the "Stiletto" part. :word: :cwink:

I like the red and blue part and lois returning but the Stiletto hero thing I'm not convinced/I'm not crazy about.

Can't help but be reminded of LOIS AND CLARK in the later seasons with this particular episode.

- Lois may end up having contact with the Red-Blue Blur at some point of the episode.

K-Site

What kind of contact is going to be? Clark rescues her? An interview could mean the end is near, so who knows.

Anyway, most episodes from 13-19 seem kind of lame, 8.14 "Requiem", 8.15 "Infamous" and 8.17 "Hex" being the most interesting. PS3 are running out of ideas, rehashing plots from S7, like Lana with powers, Clana #66, the Veritas style flashbacks with kid Davis and kid Lex (again!), retconning a retcon.... plus this victimization of villains, first Lex, now with Tess and Doomsday, is just getting ridiculous.

Indeed! First spoilers in a while that put a smile on my face. I'm looking forward to this ep.

Possibly. Maybe they'd be more interested if the title referred to a dagger instead? ;) :p

Yeah I assume PS3 got their season 9.... Well atleast I better hope they do, because there is no way the series should end like this.

Any I think its stupid to say they have run out of ideas. Committed, Abyss, Instinct, Toxic, didn't do anything for spoilers for me, but all turned out to be darn good episodes.

^^ The Lana worshipping is stupid, same for the Clana angst, victimization of villains, retconning origins.... PS3 are wasting time on things a lot of fans are tired of or don't care about, they already explained Doomsday's origins, there's no need to waste an episode on it.

And this could be the last season if they have Clark wearing the glasses and flying before the end of it, PS3 said they were ready just in case, even if many fans have a hard time believing so.

While acknowledging he's prepared for a series finale, Swimmer insists there are still a few speeding bullets left to fire off in the Superman mythology. "Clark's now in full control of his powers and basically accepting the fact that he's going to become Superman. The formation of the dual identity is what he's going to be negotiating from here on out," he says . "He'll start to experiment." Hmmm.. bifocals? A golden lasso? New hair mousse? We'll find out in a string of three new episodes beginning in February.

Yea sounds like an interesting episode and i hope it and episode 18 are not fillers. But since we dont have to much news really on the episodes we dont know how they are going to actually play out to they air in a few months. And i too hope with the direction with episode 18, and 19 they did get official word for a 9th. Cause cw really needs to to stay afloat a bit longer and all that. Though i really hope if they do have official order for 9th their budget doesnt get slashed any more and they can get a bump from say wb television.

Ugh... SV, you truly have some of the worst filler episodes on television. It's pitiful, really.

^^ Not really the case this time, Lois is after the "red blue blur", which involves Clark's identity obviously.

yea its a story lois is trying to get the blur out to get him. As for it being a filler or not we will just have to wait and see once it airs in a couple of months.

More laughable than Jimmy Bond? If this episode plays the whole 'Stiletto' thing from Lois for laughs it could work very well. If it takes itself too seriously it may be a disaster

Hey, Erica Durance made the striptease episode watchable. Don't underestimate her. I could totally see Lois gloating over a little thing like this. :)

I am pretty sure Stiletto will be more a entertaining hero then Wonder Lana
