Ezra Miller IS the Flash

If Ezra doesn't look exactly like this by the time filming starts, we riot.

runners usually have skinny legs... u dont get muscles from cardio :) a lot of cardio... so something like pic from few posts before this is ok.

Big question is who is going to be Hal Jordan??

Because Hal and Barry must have chemistry. Who is going to have chemistry with Flezra? And did they know each other before the JL happens, like they did in new 52/JL war.

I don't think WB is going to use Barry or Hal in the JL film. I think they are gonna cast and do things outside the norm. I can see Miller being Wally but he may end up being Bart. As for GL they may use that female GL to really bring forth some diversity' After all it's only one female character. Two would be nice.

Still can't believe they cast Miller as Flash. Man who ever did this was genius. Just the fact that they went outside the norm or predictable casting is great upon itself. I was like huh? at first with his casting but I really like Miller's acting. Been watching the guy on youtube cause everyone's been saying he's too dark or Flash is gonna be dark now and he looks depressing and too fruity and blah, blah, blah. After seeing him in interviews he's funny and charming and quick witted. He is not dark and depressing and he does smile and laugh. He has common sense too and he doesn't come across feminine, the guy is masculine, he's not girly based off that Wallflower movie where he was acting. These are all the qualities that I saw that i'm sure WB saw as well and why they went with him. I can see why they did it.

I'm really interested in seeing what sort of training Ezra will be doing. Personally I think Flash should be lean with strong legs like Randy Orton is built. His legs shouldn't be too big, but big enough to where you can tell it's the strongest part of his body.

looks super weird

This is wishful thinking.

I don't get what part of "DC has been emphasizing corporate synergy across all media" seems to be difficult to comprehend. The same guys that are Flash, Green Lantern etc. in the comic books will be the same ones you will see across all media. The legacy aspect of DC Comics has been dead for years now.

This is why Dick Grayson was replaced as Batman once again by Bruce Wayne. Why Arthur Joseph Curry doesn't even exist anymore since Arthur Curry was brought back as Aquaman. Why there is no other Flash besides Barry Allen since he came back from the dead in 2008 etc.

Even with the Carrie Kelly rumor she has been a part of the Batman & Robin comic book and a possible Robin candidate for a year now in the comic books.

Miller will be Barry. They're not going to risk confusing any of the general public that knows Barry Allen is The Flash from things like Injustice: Gods of Amongst Us, DC Universe Online, LEGO Batman, the live action TV series, Young Justice etc. just because some people on a comic book movie board can't seem to understand that there is more than one way to tell Barry Allen's story.

People saying he's dark probably only saw We Need To Talk About Kevin.

If you've seen Perks of Being A Wallflower or watched his interviews, you'll see that this guy is the complete opposite. He's a ball of energy and infectious positivity, even when he looks like he's high or running on a couple hours of sleep.

I still cant see how his "looks" are right for Flash, I want to see a manip to see how he would look in flash cowl.

I cannot imagine it.

Edit: I would have loved to hear what Kevin Smith (banned SHH poster.) had to say for this casting decision. :hehe:

I'm also very keen for some manips. The bottom half of his face looks like it was designed for a Flash cowl. It looks like he's always got a cocky smile/assured smirk. I have no doubt they'll do something to his hair but when he's in the cowl I think it'll look very much how Flash looks.

Is it the dark hair? Those manips of Scoot McNairy as the Flash showed me that the cowl fixes that (My pick was actually John Cho). I've also never been averse to a slim Flash.

Oh wow. Never thought about Kevin Smith. Hope he's...okay.

Here's his likely response for those who feel like some nostalgia:

Who the **** is this random kid? So he's been in some emo indie movies, so what? The Flash isn't some dark haired suicidal kid, he's a buff blonde guy with quick humor. This kid doesn't look like he could make a joke to save his life. WB just keep screwing up their casting decision, I mean do they even want to make money lol? Besides, why are they still trying to squeeze more characters into this movie when they haven't even fixed Gadot's boobs yet? :whatever:

Quick mania i did of Ezra miller with blonde hair. Don't know if they're going to have him with blue eyes but i did that anyways.

Damn i like the blonde hair on him, i hope they do something like that for the movie

Kevin got banned? :wow:

Not exactly surprising considering he was one of the rudest, most condescending, and opinionated members on the hype and had huge rants that took over threads on a weekly basis that usually ended in a mod intervening and warning him, and sometimes with him getting a temp. ban for daring them to actually ban him. He acted like he was the only actual Flash fan on the hype and like the rest of our opinions were worthless if he disagreed.

Some casting ideas. I'm going to go ahead and assume Ezra is Wally, just because that feels a little more right to me than Barry. And maybe just because Gustin IS Barry for me right now.

Wally West: Ezra Miller
Linda Park: Brenda Song
Chester Runk: Anthony Anderson
Jay Garrick: Bruce Greenwood
Hunter Zoloman/Zoom: Torrance Coombs

I wouldn't mind that, I'd like them to find some way to handle Barry though even if Ezra is Wally, just because Barry's so important to Wally's story in a way that without Barry having existed it's not really Wally. Perhaps Barry could've been a sort of urban legend in Central City or something and he died somehow shortly before MOS, or maybe even whilst saving people from the world engine. Would be nice to see Wally and his supporting cast on film since Barry's got tv covered for at least the next five years.

Were there people hoping that the TV universe and the MOS universe were tied? I just don't see how the stories make any sense together. Grant talking about the first this and that, and metas popping up for the first time, whilst MOS says something very similar.

Loosing the freedom to tell your own story as you please is too step a price to pay imo.

There were quite a few that wanted them connected, myself included, but most of us gave up on that/no longer want it since the tv shows have reached a point where connecting them would contradict both universes. Most of the talk about it was before Arrow's season 2 finale.

I see.
Though I think foresight would still suggest it a bad idea. If marvel right now said their entire comic book line was going to be in direct continuity with the MCU films..how bad an idea such a continuity is would become increasingly apparent to everyone.

As far as I'm concerned, I like the tv/movie crossover thing when it's in the vain of 'continuation' ala, the Serenity movie or a Hannibal like show coming after a film..etc. Most other instances seem like a bad idea. But who's to say.

I hope Kevin Smith hates the choice.

Oh, he will :hehe:

And I love this choice, I haven't said much about him.
He's a really nice guy and he has great wit, very funny.

And I can totally see him as Flash. I see him more along the lines of Wally West, if they make him the humorous Leaguer.

KS is no doubt directing much anger at the Fez.
