Ezra Miller IS the Flash

That manip with the blonde hair almost makes Ezra look like Jonathan Taylor Thomas lol.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. There are more reasons than just his hair and eyes. I don't see the same thing when I watch him as you do, he's not that impressive to me. Nothing about him stands out to me. Now, I'll admit, I've noticed in the last few years that my preferences in terms of acting don't line up with the general audience as much as they did 5-10-15 years ago, so maybe he is primed for stardom but I don't see it.

I also don't like that The Flash is going to be 15+ years younger than Batman. That's too big of a gap. You could brush that off as just my preference but regardless, I don't like it.

Just because those of us that don't like this casting choice are the minority, doesn't mean we should keep quiet or that we're automatically wrong because most people disagree or because Miller is a respected actor amongst "experts" or the general audience.
I'm not so sure we're in the minority. Most dissenters probably don't want to be labeled with the title Bigot/racist/homophobe for complaining too boisterously.(as is typically the case.)

I know this may seem a huge deal to avid comic book fans, but the eye and hair color is not much of a deal to me honestly. I'm very sure Snyder and his crew have an ideal concept in seeking the kind of portrayal they want the Flash to be. Miller's going to do great.

the hair color matters a bit to me, from the beginning, Barry has had blonde hair. I hope Aquaman and Flash have light hair but if they don't, i won't complain

I can get away with Momoa having blonde hair and blue eyes. I think it was regwec who said, it would make him look unique, especially being an Atlantean.

But not Miller. Flash is human....and Miller is too foreign looking. He'll look albino.

I don't really think Barry not being a blonde is a deal-breaker for me as much as Aquaman.

lol. why would anyone label anyone those things unless they deserved it? fact is, whatever argument anyone can make against him wouldn't have much to stand on because it'll just be about personal preference, and at that point what does that matter?

not liking it isn't going to change the casting. so, 2 or 3 years from now everyone complaining is going to pretend like they were on board all along or they'll be stubborn and continue complaining like babies, even though he's going to steal the show in JL.

The hair thing is important. Imagine if they'd case a redhead as Superman or a blonde Wonder Woman and left their hair colour unchanged. It affects your enjoyment because on the surface it doesn't look like the character you know and grew up liking.

I don't think they need to give him contacts, but dying his hair should be a must IMO.

There's a difference. Superman and Wonder Woman are iconic. Everyone knows what they look like and, yes, there would be a huge uproar if they changed them like that. Whereas with characters like Flash only the fans would know and care.

Well,Supe WW and Aquaman have no mask to cover their head,so their hair color is an Iconic part of their appearance.Flash's mask covers his head,so it's not as jarring.

I'd still prefer a blonde Barry, the same way we have a blonde Steve Rogers. It just adds that bit of authenticity.

Sure remember went grant was cast. Oh the gay guy from glee, he too skinny..

Superman and Wonder Woman don't wear masks, so their hair color does play a pretty active part in their visual iconography.

The Flash and Batman have a bit more wiggle room there, seeing as they wear masks most of the time. Miller may not look like a "ripped from the page" version of Barry Allen, but you better believe he'll look like The Flash.

Well when majority of your face is covered, anyone would look like Flash or Batman.

And when he doesn't steal the show you will claim he did or pretend like you never said he would. It goes both ways if you want to play that game. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, I'm definitely not holding my breath on him "stealing the show", he's pretty average from what I've seen. He's not bad, he's not good, just average.

it's really not that serious for me. i promise you. i can't say the same for you quite honestly.

How about a ginger or blonde Batman then? He wears a mask.
