Quick mania i did of Ezra miller with blonde hair. Don't know if they're going to have him with blue eyes but i did that anyways.

I don't think hair and eye color matters much. Although he looks better blond than I thought he would. At this point however i see no need to dye his hair and put in contacts. Just let that black hair dye grow out and he's fine as is. All he needs is a hair cut.

the only thing to dislike about this casting would be the fact that he isn't blonde and blue eyed which should be no reason at all since hair dye and colored contacts are actual things that exist.

the kid has charisma coming out his pores. he's one of the most talented young actors in hollywood. he's going to be a huge star, and this franchise might very well be what takes him there.

My only problem with hair dye and contacts is why not just get an actor who already has that? Females are easier to adjust their looks cosmetic wise more so then males in my opinion. Women are always changing hair color and what not, it's second nature to them and it's big. Men are different and tend to look more unnatural made up just to play a regular looking guy. I mean hair dying and contacts? It's too much. Look how both versions of Quicksilver look? The hair just doesn't look natural, especially on Johnson and the guy from the Xmen looked like a bit of a clown. They should have just let them both look like themselves. I know in the comics that QS has jet white hair but in real life it's not very realistic.

Just leave Ezra how he is. it's not mandatory that his hair be blond and eyes blue. A lot of these comic characters were created in the 50's and 60's when being blond hair and blue eyed is the perfect model or black hair and blue eye. Always blue eyes. It's unrealistic in real society and I don't see how having those features will make the character. As long as Miller captures the spirit he'd be fine. I'm sure they are going to work on and design the right look for the guy. He's not going to have a goth look or all the long hair, heck his head should be covered by the cowl while he's in costume. Don't worry he'll be fine.

whether they go with barry's coloring or not doesn't matter to me. i don't need to be convince of what matters, which is the acting. i know he's going to do really well.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. There are more reasons than just his hair and eyes. I don't see the same thing when I watch him as you do, he's not that impressive to me. Nothing about him stands out to me. Now, I'll admit, I've noticed in the last few years that my preferences in terms of acting don't line up with the general audience as much as they did 5-10-15 years ago, so maybe he is primed for stardom but I don't see it.

I also don't like that The Flash is going to be 15+ years younger than Batman. That's too big of a gap. You could brush that off as just my preference but regardless, I don't like it.

Just because those of us that don't like this casting choice are the minority, doesn't mean we should keep quiet or that we're automatically wrong because most people disagree or because Miller is a respected actor amongst "experts" or the general audience.

LOL. So now because I don't agree with you I need professional help. Gotta love SHH logic.

I know it's not important but, I think It's cool that at 5' 11", he's the same height as comic book Barry.

The blue eyes really aren't necessary, but I'm surprised how good Ezra looks with blonde hair. I would like to see them make him blonde, if not for accuracy then at least for variety as every other JL member so far has dark hair.

I would have loved to hear what Kevin Smith (banned SHH poster.) had to say for this casting decision. :hehe:

Kevin Smith still posts some stuff on CBM (under a new identity). Just look for a Flash TV news and use your browser to search for "Ethan Van Sciver" or "earpieces are wrong".

EDIT: Found KS's reaction but it was too racist/offensive and I don't want to get banned.

I actually was wondering what ole KS had to say. I know for sure the actor's sexual identity grinds his gears. Ha... I have never seen anything with Miller in it so like withGadot, I'm keeping my powder dry until I see something.

He just doesn't look right with blonde hair and blue eyes.
He looks too foreign looking.

I'm ok with him as Flash but my only problem is how he looks as Barry. Like Rodrigo said, he looks to foreign. I've always seen Barry as a regular guy so to speak. He's not like Bruce or Clark. He is physically right for the Flash but the hairstyle needs to change IMO.

Get rid of the emo hair and replace it with a David Beckham style! :D

don't care much for the hail color to be honest. as long as he has short hair and not long like he currently has it

I was impressed by Ezra in City Island, Perks of Being a Wallflower, and We Need to Talk About Kevin. Watch those movies and tell me he'll make a horrible Flash. The dude is a great actor, poised for greatness!

The FlEz is going to be amazing
