Ezra Miller IS the Flash

I don't see how that's stupid. It's worth noting that brought out the best episodes of the entire season.
And by the time The Justice League comes out, the show could already have two seasons under its belt, and would therefore be well established. Established enough that fans will continue watching regardless of what's happening in cinemas.

Or it could be cancelled by then.

Case in point, it's a non-issue. Just as with AoS.

The only downside I see to keeping the shows and movies seperate is that we wont get actors like Manu and Routh who have absolutely NAILED their characters, interacting with the movie crews. Especially if they do Deathstroke and Atom in the films and they're not as good.

Fair enough. I still find separate universes unnecessarily convoluted, but that's my personal taste. Not saying it's "problematic" per say, but I would prefer everything to be connected.

I don't think Miller would look good with like blond, blond hair.

He'd look silly and distracting. His features are too dark for him to look like a natural Blond if dyed. Please WB just leave his hair the way it is. Let the black dye grow out to his natural dark brownish color. I don't want to see Quicksilver all over again. Both versions of Quicksilver look off with the hair, especially Arron Johnson's version. Don't like it. Just leave the hair alone. Don't try and make it match the comics.

That's fine. Different strokes for different people.

But having seen what sort of vibe Snyder is going for with his DC universe (as evidenced by MoS and his conversations about BvS), and having seen both Arrow and The Flash, I am grateful to every conceivable god that the two are separate. Somebody hit it on the head in another thread. The Flash is fine for what it is: a show on CW. But if you put that Barry Allen in a multi-million-dollar motion picture? It just wouldn't work. MoS is left, The Flash is right. In no reality would those two mesh together well, much less naturally. Not without drastically changing the character to fit the medium. But then you've essentially got one actor playing two very different versions of the same character concurrently, which I'd argue is even more confusing than just having two separate guys acting out their own respective interpretations.

We're getting The Flash in three movies within the next five years, in addition to an ongoing television series. Far be it for me to complain.

Yeah both QuickSilver's look really silly.

Plus, DC's got the whole "Infinite Earths" thing going for it.

Two different dimensions, two different Barry Allen's.

To shut people up I think WB should just say it's different dimensions.

I would like to see him bulk up a little not too much.

That's how I saw it anyway. Movies can be Earth 1, shows can be Earth 2.

This. DC is known for having a multiverse.

Hell, their comics feature 2-3, if not more, universes at any given time. So its whatever.

And I perfer T.V shows to be good.
As do I.
You don't like AoS? Cool that's fine with me, but your nose is so high in the air I'm astonished you can see your keyboard.

I'm at a point where it's too early to really make a definitive call on how this turns out. I know that I personally prefer an interconnected multi-media universe because I like the idea that what I see on the small-screen will eventually effect how the stories shape in cinemas; however, if done properly I could see the compartmentalization technique being just as successful. It all comes down to execution, my personal style is for consolidation as I said but far be it from me to condemn what I have yet to see play out.
I've expressed that opinion here before, and I'm open to change my mind on that. I just started watching Arrow and it's been a slow but enjoyable start, so I might jump on board the Flash train once I'm all caught up.

While I feel Miller has a unique quality that he can bring to the role of Flash, I'm still trying to wrap my head around this surprising casting. He looks like he would fit more as a villain, but I'll see what happens over time.

I am so ****ing sick of hearing about Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul on the DC boards.

We get it you ****ing loved Breaking Bad! Shut up about it!
I'm not trying to push your opinion, but I do promise that if you give the show a few episodes you'll get hooked and enjoy it. It really was that good.

If the only "Barry Allen" confirmation is the HR article, I am not convinced. It could also read as prefacing the CW tv show part of the article, rather than his casting. Is there some other official word somewhere else about him being Allen specifically? Please clarify, cause my gut tells me he will not be the Allen version. I know I could be wrong, just would be surprised with him as that version.

I'm totally expecting Wally West. Especially if they dye his hair dirty blonde to distinguish him from Gustin.
