I repaired ED-E the Eyebot in Primm, but for some reason the blasted thing won't follow me OUT of Primm... it just turns around...

Well, I figured my problem out...

My save file was corrupted and permanently stuck on very hard difficulty. I erased it and started a new one. I got farther in 3 hours on easy than I did in 8 hours on very hard.

I have nothing against PC games, and yeah... some will end up looking better with the help of MODS and whatnot... however, I really, really don't feel like spending the money you need to spend to have, and then keep a gaming rig up to par.

Consoles suit me just fine.

You can update your PC every 2-3 years with cheap parts and it works perfectly fine. I've been using mine for 3 years now, with no updated parts, and I can still play any game on the market. That has become a pretty sad excuse to use, since PC parts are cheap now.

that's very true. that's why I usually ignore or tune people that talk like that out . that hasn't been the cause in along while. but cause of their aversion they don't know what their talking about or have been talking to the wrong people on the subject and are too stubborn to really get to know the real details and have whatyou with out spending alot. any way that hasn't been the case for pc's in a long while. But it still happens(talk like that I mean) unfortunately.

The majority of gamers (I'm not one of them) could give a crap about mods, yet it's one thing PC gamers ALWAYS turn to as to why they're superior.

Yeah, mods are GREAT... if people care. Most don't. (Again, I'm not one of them, I'm getting KotOR II for my laptop BECAUSE of the game fixing mod).

The thing is how much work was put into the game for all consoles/ game systems. some games such as this just run smoother then a console will ever hope to or in cases like crysis look better well if you obsessed with graphics. Mods are just extra icing for putting stuff pc gamer wants and add to their own personal creative experience. if your the type that like to put in or create new content for your self or your in to game making.

the thing is though most stuff for pc though are alot cheaper if you know what your doing or have the right people to talk to to get you the stuff you need for your pc and you have the same enjoyment or more so that you have for console.


who ever your talking that sound like jerks about their pc's being so much better their doing a freaking number on giving pc gaming a bad name. I think your just talking to snobs if they are talking about it in a bragging sense as you speak and their on console gaming as well.

Core gamer wise, I wouldn't agree with that at all. Counterstrike, Dota, Team Fortress, Left4dead as well as many other games are played by millions of people. While a user base (specifically console) may be ignorant to mods, many are in fact playing games influenced by them even if they aren't directly using them. Fallout Vegas itself is influenced by mods as well as modders.

Personally, I couldn't care less about mods. I want to play the game the developers made and judge it on its own merits. If I need to download a bunch of mods that changes "fixes" the game, then it probably isn't a game worth playing in the first place.

Arkham Asylum sure had some fantastic user made mods that only added more to the game....

jeebus I don't even know how we got on the mod crap talk. all I did was put up news artical on patchs which should apply too all the freaking game systems . I'm not sure why ben went there with haveing to b tch about it.( who fing cares.) look the point is the games bugs will be patched. and we're all still enjoying this game despite the bugs and might even more that the patch from the freaking company i might add (if that's the issue) will be fixed

Im not. Yet. I dont have the game. I was thinking of picking it up this week, but there is still stuff i havent done in Fallout 3. I havent completed Point Lookout or the Pitt yet.

I'm just going to hold off for the game of the year edition.
Presumably by that time most of the bugs should be ironed out, mod content will have accumulated and it will more or less be the same price as it is now with the added 3-4 dribbles of content.

I have never played WoW. I mainly play my 360, but do spend alot of time in Uncharted 2. I'm glad you assume that I only play PC games though, only because silly people here are being silly. Just because you don't like a certain console is no reason to be ignorant and spout false things as "fact".

For the life of me I can't figure out what this is not an expansion to FO3. Same engine, same graphics, minimal changes to gameplay, no real story advancement the list goes on. I'm still going to play it and like it but calling this a "new" fallout is lame. I'm calling it right now next fallout whichever may be next Gen will be set in the annexed Canada!

You could say that about tons of sequels. Halo 2 off the top of my head. But I still see them as sequels and yes New Vegas is a sequel. They have actually truly improved the companionship structure and I actually care about them. And the morality thing is now way more then just good and bad. It truly changes the game to a level that I know I will want to go back and try to align with different factions to have a completely different story.

Yes the graphics are the same, but we knew this from the first screen shot. But (besides the bugs) this game truly I think does improve on Fallout 3 and is a sequel. Much more then just a 10 hour DLC.
