Bethesda Fallout: New Vegas (PC, PS3, 360)

So I encountered a glitch at Crimson Caravan. I bought some reinforced Leather Armor that needed repair. It went to my inventory and was fully repaired. I sold it back for a profit. I was able to keep doing that process until I got 10,000 caps out of them.

I lost all my saves for this with a format.
Should have saved it to disk. Too much effort, not syncing 30 odd hours again. Probably pick up GOTY ediition a year or two down the line.

Is there going to be a Goty edition? There really hasn't been any DLC content thus far that they could bundle with it.

I suppose there is that' Dead Money (is that right?) but the reaction to that seemed to be pretty lukewarm to the point that the near silence following has been pretty telling.

It may not be a "GOTY" edition per se, but I think there will certainly be version down the line that comes bundled with all the DLC. And I know they haven't released much yet, but they said before the game came out that they had big plans for DLC.

They are taking way too long with the DLC for this game. It's been out since October and we've only had one DLC release. Pfffffft!!!

More DLC on the way.

The first pack, Honest Hearts, arrives on May 17, and drops Vault Dwellers into a tribal war within Utah's Zion National Park after being raided. You'll also encounter someone named the Burned Man.

In June (Bethesda has not specified a specific release date), Old World Blues pits you and a bunch of pre-war technology against a bunch of Mojave creatures scarred and changed by various experiments.

Finally, Lonesome Road rounds out the world of expandable New Vegas in July. This one will "bring the courier's story full circle," as players are contacted by the original Courier Six, Ulysses, to learn more about the Platinum Chip and why one would decide to refuse delivering it.

^^ SOunds awesome!

I've messed up big time in this game. What happened was I
did misssions for the Boomers before talking to Pearl therefore I got my reputation with them up to liked. Now? I can't complete Volare. I don't want to kill Pearl because I'll lose Karma.

Loved the new DLC. Also, love the fact that this is going to be voicing three characters in the upcoming DLCs.

Hopefully, I can pick up the new DLC the day it comes out. I'll be buying L.A. Noire that day as well.

Yeah I'm amped for it too, I Dead Money's ending set the stage for some epic, epic DLC to come.

I'm still stuck at a certain aprt in New Vegas. I got my reputation for the Boomers up to liked before talking to Peral, so now I can't complete the Volare mission. This mission is to get the Boomers ot trust Mr. House. Any help?

Sweet news about DLC. Looks like I'll be starting my final playthrough in July!

Hard to tell without knowing everything you did during the game, there are a lot of moving parts, which is great. It's possible that you did some things at this point that won't let you get their allegiance, but I don't think you necessarily have to get them to trust Mr. House to keep going in the game. They just won't be a faction on your side when the end of the game happens.

The only other choice is for me to kill pearl, but then I'll lose karma.

Karma doesn't mean anything in this game anyway. Kill the old hag!!

Anybody know how to get the NCR ranger outfit? I man, I know there's a way to get it by doing the Hoover Dam mission, but isn't that towards the end of the story for Mr. House? I don't mind that it is, I'm just saying. I know there are other ways, but still.

I've grabbed probably no less than 100 NCR combat armors. The easiest way for me was grabbing "Pushy" the unique punchy thing. You go somewhere like Camp Golf where there are a lot of those guys walking around. You crouch, go into sneak mode, get behind one of those guys and wait until your status is "hidden", and then you sneak attack crouch punch him, which should instantly kill him, and since you're hidden you'll lose no rep with the NCR, and be able to freely loot his body, not only for the armor but also for either the brush gun or the ranger sequoia. Make sure you save before the punch in case somebody walks into the line of sight and you lose your hidden status at the last second. I've played the majority of the game in that armor, way before the end of the game. I used the same method to get the authority glasses and ranger hat when all I had was the unique golf club. That weapon isn't strong enough to take down a vet with one hit though, so you really need Pushy.

If you do some missions at McCarran the General will give you a key to an NCR bunker. You can find Ranger armor (along with other goodies, including the power helmet from the teaser trailer) in there.

I think, I haven't played in a while lol.

edit:

here we go, it's not a bunker but a safehouse hahah.

If you wanna kill NCR folk go at it though. :P
