That clip was fine. All clips released for DOFP were heavily edited so it's obviously the same case here.

So hard to believe the premiere is next week. I'm done with speculating and mediocre trailers, the whole thing is coming and it will definitely be something. Excited to see if it sucks so bad as some people are hoping lol.

There are definitely people here who hope the film will be an utter failure, if not only for Disney to get the film rights. I'm like you, i hope the film is good and surprises everyone.

Just found out that Fant4stic is showing in 2 theaters in my country starting yesterday.

One of the theaters is 2 hours away from my place tho.

Wonder if I should go watch it? Hahahaha.

Just checked other cinemas. There is one showing it early, but it's only showing starting 5th August.

I have a job interview on the 5th, and the cinema showing it is 10 minutes from that my interview. I'm gonna go watch it there if I have time.

The clip is alright and it would make me more confident, that this isn't the turd, many believe it to be.

When I see a 'clip' I expect it to be a 'clip' silly me.

As release approaches, MOST movies actually show clips so you get some sense for the flow, pace, communication and chemistry between actors etc. Being able to see full scenes develop contrasts with the shorter segments we see in trailers and allows us to better judge the film.

This film seems very reluctant to show us any of that.

Watch a previously released clip from ANY movie then compare it to the scene in the actual movie, the clips are often heavily edited and have things cut out, this is the case with ANY movie my friend.

I can't pretend to remember exactly how they played out in the films, but they look about the same in the clips as they did in the films.

I'd say this clip is edited more than most but if I have to be honest it doesn't really concern me since editing clips is pretty common. Fox has sloppy PR.

Like I said earlier, I'd like to get a feel for the pace, flow, character interaction etc. of the film. That's what makes or breaks a film. Just seeing the "highlights" tells me very little about the actual feel of the film.

Oh yeah I get what you mean in that sense. It's hard to evaluate a scene -- especially one as heavily chopped up as that was.

... this is a premier screening. Not a critic screening, which has been one of the main talking points of late. Dragonball Evolution flew some cast out to Japan for a premier screening.
