Fant4stic Fant4stic: Reborn! - - - - Part 38

With the release date approaching I'm getting more interested to see how the movie performs. What if it turns out that, besides a lot of the fandom not wanting to see another non-MCU-FF movie, the general public doesn't want to see another FF movie at all? This movie could even be really good, but that might not matter.

If that's the case then selling this material from a different/fresh angle may end up being beneficial as far as the GA is concerned.

But it's not even funny...

I have a feeling they hired some community college interns to do the promotion for this.

And if so, it must not be a very good community college.

That video was just plain uncomfortable to watch.

First potential review coming from AINEC's message boards. Take it for what its worth. It is a heavy detailed spoiler review.

To recap, it looks like this might be a all time bust for a CBM. On the level of Catwoman. We all knew how bad that was going to be before it was released.
So I was reading this and I think I was at the last paragraph describing things powers when the page suddenly redirects me to the main page. Every attempt to see the article again just takes me to the main page. I guess the review was deleted?

the 4 minute clip was pretty much nothing new, which i'm actually happy about. now i gotta stay spoiler free until i see the film.

I just don't buy into the idea of bashing a movie I haven't see because of set reports from random websites or because the movie isn't how I personally wanted it to be done. I am a comic book fan that's willing to give pretty much any superhero flick a chance and I am mad at filmmakers doing their own thing every once and a while. I seen people say they are going to buy a ticket into Ant Man and then sneak into FF. If you have no interest in the movie why see it at all? In fact why stick around a message board for a movie you don't plan to see at all? Those are the things that get me about some fans....

If you dont like those fans ignore them. The mods have said countless times that positive or negative. People are allowed to post here. Complaining about them wont do you any good either & we post here because we care about the source material & Josh Trank & co does not

I'm watching AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR and they just showed the 4 minute clip....it ended with Deadpool coming on and saying "I'm here with a special offer....if you go see FF this Friday, I'll throw in a DEADPOOL trailer for free. Shameful plug? You betcha."

I can't explain why someone would want to sneak into a film they have no interest in seeing (that's a head scratcher) but if you still don't understand that there are die hard fans of the characters but not fans of what Fox is doing to those same characters well then I don't know what to say.

Really, I think they'd be better off selling tickets to the Deadpool trailer with a free "Fantastic Four" movie after the credits. :o

It's still there but I suspect it's bogus (checked the sources other 'discussions' and they do seem like a certifiable troll).

lol yeah, saw that too. it's probably not a bad idea since the majority of fans are reacting very positively to deadpool already. i gotta ask though, who actually goes to a theater to see a specific trailer these days? the studio puts them on youtube right away most of the time.

That review link worked for me.
I'm sure it's a fake. It's beyond horrible in that review and I don't think they could possibly have made as many changes as are stated in that review.
It the contents of that review ( minus the bad attitude) are true then I don't see even the pro movie diehards around here saying they like it.
"It's a faaaake!!!"

Sneak Peek (Maybe this is the same 4 minute clip)

There was absolutely nothing new in that "sneak peak" except for the Deadpool plug.

yep, that's the one

It's nothing new. Could have made a good trailer. The effects look a lot better in this.

Love the Deadpool bit about you know what. Pat yourself in the back. lmao.

Nothing new, except for a few shots of some guys in lab coats.

Wow they barely showed anything new. The only interesting titbit was that Johnny can "build anything" so at least that gives him a useful skill and a reason to go along.

I figured that we would at least get a clip for the first half, but nope, nada.

Every time I see the scene "I know who to call... The muscle" and wee little Jamie knocks the light out with his baseball, I wanna bust out laughing. It's like a parody or something.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who snickered. :hehe:

Remember people.....you want to take potshots at the movie, you have the FFINO thread.

I've seen more shame inducing tactics cbms in recent years.
If only deadpool was in the actual trailer fighting one of them, or the poster maybe.
It's the times.
