It was an awesome use of a shameful plug.

Hahaha That Deadpool bit was awesome.

atleast fox is aware that the hype for a movie coming in 2016 is higher for a film coming in a few days. i think it was smart to utilize deadpool this way.

Remember people.....you want to take potshots at the movie, you have the FFINO thread.

Sorry - I thought the movie was still fair game for criticism in all threads. I wasn't trying to make a joke or ruffle feathers. It's just my honest reaction to the "sneak peak" posted. You guys gotta tough job keeping the peace though so I'll be more mindful.

I've seen more shame inducing tactics cbms in recent years.
If only deadpool was in the actual trailer fighting one of them, or the poster maybe.
It's the times.

Woulda been funny to have DP photobomb a FF Promo photo

Miles Teller's girlfriend is...fantastic:

You're joking right? LOL It's Kate f***ing Mara. :funny:

And are they off to see the Wizard? :whatever:

I wasn't calling it a shameful plug, he was in the commercial.

Kate Mara's had some serious plastic surgery if she's the one on the right. :o

My bad. I misread the post. I continue to get Michael and Miles mixed up. Too many damn "M'ms." Shows how vested I am in this huh? LOL Go figure. :whatever:

Are you looking at the same pic I am? Kate is holding hands with Jordon and has her arm entwined in Bell's arm.....Teller is with a hot babe all th way on the right.

Showing the same stuff in every new trailer is actually making me more curious to see this.

They're playing it right by not giving too much away, I'll give them that.

Yeah but you can kinda make up the basic structure of the film. I feel like I know pretty much how the film is going to go down. Maybe I am wrong.

With the production history for this film, it makes it feel like they have nothing else positive to show.

I'm actually looking forward to seeing this on the weekend. As for the pic above, well done, Miles.

And why yes, they are off to see the Wizard.

I have nothing on the schedule this week so I'm actually kinda looking forward to Fantfourstic

Love that avy, The Colider Crew shared some awesome stories about him on today's show.

And then he does on to say "I find Fantastic Four a hard book to adapt."

At least he's being honest.

"Figuring out the comedy and the drama and the powers themselves are hard to fit into a tone that is as grounded as we wanted to make it."

Sure...it's going to be tough when you're shoehorning this property into a tone that doesn't fit the stories its based on.

I'm actually looking forward to skipping this film in theaters this weekend. It will be the FIRST time I've EVER deliberately missed a comic book film on its opening weekend. Since 2001's Spider-Man, I've been there for all of them. It does feel weird. :csad: But it also feels right. Previously, these opening weekends have felt like a celebration of sorts for me--a time to rejoice at seeing my childhood heroes realized on the silver screen. I enjoyed such an experience just a couple of weeks ago with the premiere of Marvel's Ant-Man.

But this time? I'm actually making a point not to support a studio and franchise that clearly does not support me as a fan. And I'm at peace with that. I'll be looking forward to reading the reviews from critics and my friends here however. And of course, I'll be keeping an eye on the box office returns for Fanfourstic in hopes of a certain outcome.

It's kind of like adapting Sophie's Choice and saying, "Figuring out the bleakness and sense of dread and the heavy drama itself is hard to fit into a tone that is as funny as we wanted to make it."

It's still there but I suspect it's bogus (checked the sources other 'discussions' and they do seem like a certifiable troll).

Fake or not, who even trusts this opinion when he says he "thoroughly enjoyed the first two films." That right there tells me his judgement is off...so, maybe him saying the movie is bad actually means it's good.
