And with the whole burning thing, that means that Doom's armour must be really crappy to be melted so easily. As I've said before, that would never happen to comic Doom otherwise Johnny would've beaten him on his own many times before. There aren't even any scorch marks or dark stains on his hood or cloak.

But they'll add it in post production.:o

They can add a whole new costume in post while they're at it.

No, I think we'll stick around and continue to voice our discontent, as is our right.

Don't like it? Well... you can always take your own advice.

Seriously what's the mindset behind that?

That guy must like EVERYTHING about all the movies he's interested in.

They can add a whole new costume in post while they're at it.

New cast, director, screenwriters...

And usually goes around as if his is the superior opinion re movies, casting etc.

The Thing look isn't great (I really think he should always be orange), but it isn't too bad. It is the type of thing that would be of little concern in a film that gets the rest of the major elements right, but that becomes very noticeable in a film where everything else is bad.

Of all the bits of news coming out about this production, The Thing is the least awful.

This thread is giving me flashbacks to Dragonball: Evolution.

yeah.. im sorry i can't even fathom those who are complaining about people complaining.. I don't see how anyone can't seem to fathom or understand the complaints at the very least...

all i can think of is spite, and stubbornness. Im not sure the supporters of this film would ever admit to disliking anything about it. Which, lets face it. Isn't realistic. Everyone of us on these movie boards can even say what we don't like about a movie we absolutely loved... no way is this just "wowing" every supporter.

Good assessment. I would agree with this.

I don't happen to like the way the Thing looks at all but if it other things were spot on I could probably get over it.

Wow, burnt or not that thing looks horrible.

No wonder Trank and Co. were a no show at SDCC if this has been there efforts behind the scenes. I'm actually glad this looks terrible.

It'll make MCU's 616 accurate Doom that much more enjoyable once it eventually reverts.

Thank you FOX.

I have a question for everyone who doesn't like this production and don't plan to watch it in theatres:

Will you still come and post in here at the time of the film's release even if there are major spoilers, even if you don't plan to see this movie at all? Or would some of you wait until it comes out on DVD/BR, or on TV and refrain from posting here for a few months/ years? Or alternatively, will you do what MBJ predicted and still go see it anyway, just so you can be in the loop (thereby giving validation to his comment)?

For me, I think I will just come in and still post, spoilers be damned. I'm not watching this on the big screen.

I don't want to see it for sure. But whether anyone here goes or not, it's not going to validate MBJ's comment. This movie is Doomed (pun intended) to fail. Seriously, I said this movie wouldn't get more than 50M and that may have been kind on seeing this latest stuff.

The movie is smack dab in the middle of June, everyone is going to see Pixar, so it's a foregone conclusion that the "best" case scenario is a solid no. 2 opening, when in reality even though AoU will have been in the theaters for a month and a half, there's a good chance that may may come in above FF that weekend if this keeps up.

You have to be living under a rock not to think that this production isn't complete crap. Doom sucks, there's no way around it. It's completely embarrassing, and what's worse is that someone actually thought that looked cool.

"They'll see it anyway" ensured that Fox wouldn't see one dime out of me. I'll wait for Netflix or dl a handicam copy online.

me too, when he said that.. that sealed the deal for me... I don't play those games. You disrespect the fans.. i don't give you a blood dime

I'll stick around here.

I'm curious as hell as to how the supporters will react to this film, and if they (of right mind) can still call it a good Fantastic Four movie when its all said and done.

And as far as me seeing it? No way in hell.

This sits right next to Ant-Man on my list of "2015 CBMs I'll never see in theaters, if ever at all".

Unless the reviews are good, I won't even waste my time doing that. I'd rather spend my two hours watching Guardians of the Galaxy again.

But you are still going to see it anyway.

I wouldn't say it was a certainty. I don't always force myself to watch bad movies, even if I like the source material. I haven't seen Catwoman or The Spirit, for example. Either way I'm not paying for it.

That comment made me ceased to be a Michael B. Jordan fan.

I had followed him for years prior to F4, but that I don't tolerate that BS.

As a lifelong CBM, I find it HIGHLY disrespectful when an actor, producer, or director says that, and excuses their making a horrible film.

Yeah, but he wouldn't be paying for it. Which is what Jordan mean when he said "They'll go see it anyways".

He meant "They'll go see it anyways" as in "they'll go see it anyways". Not that hard.
