Gaahh!! Everytime I think about Kang and his time loops it gives me a headache. You're right about that. Kang found a mysterious, unnamed ancestor's time machine and traveled back to ancient Egypt to become Rama Tut. When Rama Tut reeled in Doom from the depths of space in FF annual #2 (both had just recently suffered setbacks at the hands of the FF), Rama Tut/Kang surmised that they both could be the same man, but from different points of the timestream. Much later, in Avengers Forever, Kang recalls that meeting and states he only said that to stop Doom from firing on him. He really doesn't know for sure if the two are related.

John Byrne I believe makes a connection between Reed's father Nathaniel by implying that it is Nathaniel's time machine that the future Kang uses to travel back to Egypt. If this is true, then Kang could be a descendant of the Richards family line. And in a strange way he could also be related to Doom because Nathaniel claimed he was the father of Kristoff Venard, who later became Victor's adopted heir. Kang also assumed other identities throughout time, notably the Scarlet Centurian and Immortus.

Thank you very much IM....you probably pulled that right off the top of your head, whereas I would have had to do some research in the matter....very cool...

You're welcome, and yeah, it pretty much came from memory. So if I am wrong on anything, I won't get offended if someone comes up with more information.

IM does bring the goods of knowledge that is for sure.....any other villains of choice?

Medusa was only considered a villainess when she was a part of the Frightful Four. Later on, they explained away her participation in that group by saying she had amnesia! She subbed for Sue for a while on the team when Reed and Sue went through a separation.

Scott Lobdell introduced an interesting villain named Crucible, who went to Tibet and slaughtered the group of monks that had sheltered a young Victor. For reasons that were never fully explained, he had a grudge against both Reed and Victor. When Reed first encountered him in Paris, he thought it was Doom returning from the pocket universe that Franklin had created to shelter all the heroes after Onslaught was defeated. Claremont later added him to the group of scientists known as the Enclave but never explained why he killed the entire sect of monks in Tibet.

Bumping so Hunter Rider can read the thread.....lol

OMG I forgot about this thread........

Question: Crucible was not brought up in the Books of Doom was he? Also wasn't he two people? Another question on Medusa if Medusa was in the movies they wouldn't just give her hair control would they kinda lame don't ya think so I was thinking an extra power?

Knowing Fox, they would give her the power to shoot electricity out the ends of her hair...

Jeez is that a sentence or a question or both or one of each kinda confusing don't ya think I know I was confused.

Seriously,though...Medusa's power will be quite visually impressive if done right. (That is, if done faithfully.)
Maybe Fox could develop the power to leave things alone.
