Green Lantern hasn't done anything with his team for a month. I've sent an e-mail, sent a PM at SHH! and have not recieved a reply. I guess he lost interest already even though he had a great first week and could've made some moves or dressed some players to not be so bad in the 2nd week.

I understand that people will drop out and not care since they don't want to put in an effort for what they see as a losing team but that should happen atleast not until December. Top 6 make the playoffs so plenty of time to improve.

So you guys can maybe try to convince him to play. Or I can use my commish powers, and do whatever to his team like dress players or add/drop players. Or we can leave his team alone and most likely you'll win every week against him.

You can't get rid of his team after the draft has started. The most the commisioner can do is lock the team, there would be no bye week. Dropping all of his players would be a huge mistake in my opinion... it would screw up the balance of the league and give players to teams who do NOT deserve them. It would be ridiculous. Lock his team all you want... but leave his current lineup and team as it is. Just lock him from making trades, dropping/adding players and such. Don't go overboard.

Nobody deserves a ton of free players to boost up their team... it isn't fair and totally screws over any team who works hard to improve their team fairly. I missed the draft and have worked ro improve my team...

Also, it wouldn't be fair to those players who lost points to him during the first 2 weeks.

With only 12 teams, there's a LOT of talent available out there... especially some good rookies who might turn it up a notch during the season.

You're Right.....However it doesn't matter, cause he made some roster moves today.

Heh, very much so. He actually scored a goal on the 14th. He's getting plenty of shots... just aren't finding the back of the net. I have confidence that he'll start scoring more soon. It's a bit too early to start ragging him.

Yeah I know I dropped him on the 13th after 5 games. He'll get you shots and a minus rating. It'll be tough for Tampa now that they're up against the defending champs plus the other three teams are playing better. I didn't want to drop him but I need goals/stats now, not in November.

I never saw the Patrick Roy debacle, but I don't think the same Flyer team that played tonight will be playing next week.

I hate the Sabres, but you can't deny they are the best team in the league and are very entertaining. Pretty smart for TSN to be playing the Sabre games, they've been good to watch.

But I can't watch That's Hockey after the game, The Spin with Steve Kouleas is the hockey show.

No one has Esche for their hockey team.

I thought the ones they had the black with the white buffalo and the alternate red with the sabres were one of the better logos/jerseys. Pierre McGuire was right when he mentioned the new yellow slug ripped off the University of Manitoba Bisons' logo but made it worse. The Ducks upgraded but its too small.

Well after that embarrassing loss yesterday to the Sabres, the Flyers have waived a few players. Among them is Petr Nedved.



I hate to sound bitter and everything, but he really should've stayed in Edmonton a couple seasons back...

Heh, but you know... it can't get much worse than their logo from 1996 to 2006... because that one was pretty bad also. I like their old one way better than the past two. They need to go back to the old logo.

Well the old 'classic' logo is back for their alternate jersey but with a different darker shade of blue. It looked okay last night, maybe two many yellow lines on the player but I really like them putting the player's number in the right hand corner for their home, away and alternate jerseys. Hope to see other teams adopt that look.

Thoughts on "Jurassic" Clarke resigning from his post? Wish he was fired, never liked him. The Flyers seem like the St.Louis Blues of 2006/2007; just a long season stuck in last place of the division. Of course who knows what crazy things could happen in Long Island. Atleast Hitchcock signed his three year deal a few weeks ago, he can go back to making Chef Boradee appearences at grocery stores.
