Ah, good. I have to force myself to play FPS games where the character moves around like a tank. This game looks really good, but if the controls were like that then it would have been a deal breaker for me.

Yeah, it handles very tight. It's weird though coz in the story the main character hasn't shot a gun before in his life. I don't mind though, this is a game that gives you more tools than you need and lets you play however you want to play. It's very easy to come by money and weapons so you can get your favourite toys early on.

I played a couple matches of multiplayer and it's nothing new but a lot of fun. I really like the mercy/punish choice at the end of matches, it's a very cool way to showcase the top players.

That's gonna be sweeet, it's annoying seeing story mission reminders pop up every once in a while.

Just killed Vaas. Probably my favorite "boss" battle of a game this year. The music was just phenomenal and the way you kill Vaas was freakin bad ass. Just loved it.

I'd like to think there's ambiguity regarding if he's actually dead, with him looking at you in the end of the fight and since you were dope up, it all could've been a battle taken place in Jason's head. Citra confirmed he's dead but since we never really saw his body (I'm a stickler for this) we'd never know for certain.

Good about the news about the no HUD patch, so long damn mission reminder.

That's very true, I thought the eyes opening was creepy and kinda startled me

I was clearing an outpost and the last pirate started to run at my sniping position. I was lining up a shot as he started to run across the road and I saw him get hit by a car LOL, best undetected XP bonus I've ever earned.

You already have the wing suit. You can use it whenever you want

I've been playing this for the past week and I'm really liking this game. It's funny because it reminds me a lot of Tomb Raider in terms of tone and setting, with the only big difference for me being that I don't really care about any of the characters. It could be because I've spread out the story missions and have been doing way more exploring in between, but other than Vaas, I don't really feel anything for the main character or his friends.

So, is anyone else as excited for Blood Dragon as I am?

Since I recently played FC3, I was curious as to what exactly Blood Dragon is, and then I saw the preview on IGN, and I don't know what to think. I feel like it is something made for children who grew up in the 80's, so for someone who was born at the end of that decade, it doesn't really appeal to me. But at the same time, seeing it in action, it does look pretty cool how they were able to transfer a bunch of 80's references and visual iconography in a modern day style.

Ah well, i ended up not really liking FC3 all that much, so its not like i was hoping for any story DLC or anything.

While this has an 80's vibe to it, it definitely has a strong Terminator look to it, which is ironic because the guy you play as is voiced by Michael Biehn, who played Kyle Reese in the first Terminator movie.
