I guess he couldn’t take anymore of Vin Dinsel’s “tough love.”

I would say F6. Elena was alive. Paul was alive. They were back in LA at the house. Everyone got to say goodbye to Han. They all earned their freedom and weren’t quite ridiculous super spies yet.F7 really was the perfect end point
If they insisted on bringing Han back, that probably would've worked better as Tokyo Drift follow-up with Sean finding out he's alive and going through hell to track him down.

Sure. But, that would be leaving a LOT of money on the table.F7 really was the perfect end point
I don’t think any studio in 2021 is going to put Lucas Black as the star of their blockbuster lol
I think its time for a villain to put Dom into a wall at a buck twenty. Hobbes is a much better face and more charismatic lead for this franchise. Tej also wouldn't be a bad lead character. Or Han.

I'm dead at Blunts response.

Honestly F9 really had me missing The Rock, because honestly the main crew were almost all pretty boring and dull in F9. It just didn’t feel like there was any spark in any of them here.Damn I can understand The Rock moving on and he definitely doesn't need to be apart of this franchise anymore, but I am seriously going to miss his charisma and presence when it comes to these movies.
I still haven't seen F9 yet, but from everything I've heard it sounds like someone like him who brought alot of new energy to this franchise is going to be sorely missed going forward, especially since almost everyone else in the cast wants to take these movies way more seriously now.
