Fast and the Furious 9: The Fast Saga

Yeah, the first one is the only one worth checking out for a laugh. Definitely entertaining and in the same vein as the first Fast and the Furious (same director too).

The other two are pretty unwatchable though.

Let's make it even crazier and have characters that don't fit right into the franchise be a part of the franchise such as......

John Cena's character from Blockers
Gal Gadot as Diana Prince
Helen Mirren as Queen Elizabeth
Kurt Russell as Snake Plisken
Luke Evans as Dracula

I’m down.

Lucas Black as the kid from Sling Blade (still playing him as a kid since his true age never corresponds with the character he is playing in this series)

Michelle Rodriguez as Rain Ocampo

Djimon Houndsou as Korath

Dwayne Johnson as the Tooth Fairy

Chalize Theron as Aileen Wuornos

Don't forget to throw in Tyrese as Epps (from Transformers), who's essentially the same character as Roman anyway. :o

If Dom and crew went to war with Thanos, they would probably have an easier time than the Avengers did.

:o

Yeah just challenge Thanos to a street fight.

Dom and Thanos are facing each other, standing on concrete rubble from Torreto's house.

Dom: The thing about street fighting.. is that the streets always win.

(Kicks the ground and Thanos falls in the debris).

:funny:

Heck, put the Thanos copter (from Loki's latest episode) and have Dom take it down with a machine gun.

The possibilities are endless!

Yeah, you just know that Thanos in the F&F universe would fly a helicopter lol. And the Rock would grab hold of it with a chain and pull it down from the sky.

Thanos: "I am Inevitable"
Dominic Toretto: "And I have a family!"

(Dom proceeds to punch Thanos in the face and Thanos dies).

(Thanos then inexplicably returns in the next movie as a good guy and Dom has no issues teaming up with a dude who killed half the universe.)

After putting it off for an eternity, I've finally watched Fast 5 through Furious 7. I did wonder if seeing them so late would make me come away thinking they were overrated, but relieved to find that indeed Fast Five is far and away the best installment and I thoroughly enjoyed F6 and F7.

I will say that I didn't love F7 as much as I thought I would. Everything with Statham is awesome but the movie just didn't hit me the way I expected. Maybe the loss of Han and Gisele, as well as Hobbs' smaller screentime impacted that.

Tomorrow I'm going to catch F8 but I'm bracing for a big step down since Brian is now also not there anymore, for obvious reasons.

F8 is a huge step down.

Yep, F8 is quite a disappointment and a huge step down from F5, 6 & 7.

There is not a single action scene i remember from that film, besides Hobbs pushing away a torpedo with his bare hands lol

So I'm not the only one!

Has Tyrese said "the Family can easily beat the Avengers" yet?

Remember the days when Tyrese was lobbying hard to play John Stewart?
