8 was the last one that I saw. Liked it.

I thought 8 was okay but hypothetically if Universal pulls the plug and the franchise is over and done with after X, there's no point in watching 8, 9 and 10 since it kicks off a storyline that would ultimately go nowhere. I don't actually believe there won't be one last movie to finish things off but in the event that there wasn't, it's best to stop watching after 7.
