Hopefully there will closure with Dom and the gang at the end of this. As much as I love the F&F series I don't know how I feel about them dragging it on forever
Back in March, Collider had an interview with Neal Moritz, and Moritz said this:
Moritz: "We're not actually going to shoot them together, but we're developing the 6th one as well. We have an idea of what we want it to be and we're working on that." He went on to say "It's not that we're setting it up necessarily for a cliffhanger, but we have an idea that breaks off from the 5th that goes into the 6th."

If there is a 6th, hopefully it'll be after Tokyo Drift.

It seems like they wrote themselves into a bind by having Dom show up in Tokyo Drift. At some point the story will have to continue from there and I hope it does.

As I said back around the time of Fast 4's release, I'd love to see them take it to Europe at some point before the franchise ends completely. It's not too late.

AWESOME!

Who knew after walking out of the theater in summer 2001, that this series would be 5 deep and overall pretty solid as a franchise.

I hate drag racing and all that hoopla but something about stories involving Dom, Brian, etc. just drag me in...

Tokyo Drift was the only "lesser" film for me.

Didn't they build a Challenger like this one on Street Customs?

I'm pumped for FF after seeing the trailer, I was looking forward to FF in the first place but now I can't wait.

I'm surprised , the only one I haven't seen is FF2 because I thought it looked bad and I haven't heard many positive reviews. I think Fast and Furious felt like a true sequel and so in that regard it brings Tokyo Drift down a notch but I still love it.

2Fast 2Furious was the biggest POS I have ever seen. The whole set up was so far fetched & not in a badass, gritty way like the first, more like a Michael Bay's Transformers kinda way. maybe it's the Miami setting but everything looked colorful & cartoony & tyrese Gibson was so f****** annoying in it. Hell he's annoying in everything. Worst actor EVER!.

Just wish they didn't kill Han in TD cause then the chronological order wouldn't be jacked up.

Yeah I know Han is a really difficult one, I wish they hadn't included him in these sequels to be honest with you

Now thats one way to steal a safe
Watched all the rest so im in for the fifth

Tokyo Drift was a mediocre movie but I was a bit disappointed that it didn't focus much on drifting.

I only liked The Fast and the Furious and Fast and Furious tbh... looking forward to this one, trailer looks good

I am good with these movies taking place before Tokyo Drift. But what I don't get is I don't know why Han is in this one since in Fast & Furious he mentioned he was going to go to Tokyo. So why come all of the way back ? Unless the group goes near Tokyo & it would not be much of a commute for him & I agree that they need to do one after Tokyo Drift with everyone heading there & teaming up with the Tokyo Drift group

I'm pretty much in total agreeement here. I still thought Drift was alright but thats it.

And, I have to agree with everyone, there needs to be something post TD with Dom in Tokyo and whatever happens after. What likely happened is that they fugred that Drift would be the last in the franchise and and Dom was there as a nod to the series fans. I doubt they thought they'd be 5 deep with ideas for a 6th.

I imagine that since there are so many buddies coming together in this that Dom and Brian put the word out so all their friends come crawling out of the wood work. I am very interested to see how all these old characters fit into the storyline.

Man that Trailer was damn cool.

My rankings:

1. The Fast & The Furious (I)
2. Fast & Furious (IV)
3. 2 Fast, 2 Furious (II)
4. Tokyo Drift (VI?)

I only really don't like Tokyo Drift because the reason I love these films is because of Vin and Paul. It's their "series" in sense. 2 Fast was a let down per-say but still fun but the villain guy was a *****e.

That's pretty much the way I look at it. Fast and Furious seemed more like a true sequel to The Fast and Furious, for what it's worth, 2F2F should heve been done later on down the line to show that O'Connor was no longer affiliated with Dom

Tokyo Drift will always be the black sheep of the franchise.

Fast & Furious - $155,064,265
The Fast and the Furious - $144,533,925
2 Fast 2 Furious - $127,154,901
The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift - $62,514,415
