My vote is, was and will always be Amy Adams, but am quite surprised at Kidder's 'legacy', she's quite way down on my list for a number of reasons but I always felt 'alone' on those reasons, but seems many share my view on/of her interpretation of the role. I adore the 1978 film and always will but always felt her Lois was so dismissive of Clark (too dismissive, I get the dynamic required) to the point of actually being a bully and why anyone would want to date someone with such personality traits is beyond me, she is outright horrible to Clark. I always said, Clark's first line to her about the bottle of water, is actually so 'on the nose' for the rest of their history together.
