My favorite two...

"Your ****ed now mutie!"

-- Pierce

My favorite line from a villain in any X movie and favorite line other than Laura's Eulogy.

Love when flatscans use derogatory terms against mutants (mutie, mutes, etc). The f bomb in front of it made it even more powerful.

-- Logan

Finally X-MEN using nicknames. Been waiting for this!

"Don't be what they made you to be".

I don't know about favorite but if you mean saddest then...

"It wasn't me."

and

"At least there's water -"

Probably the best acting Hugh's done.

"Last ride. You're welcome."

Even better when you realize the metatext behind the line.

It's easy to miss, but during one scene when they're driving, Logan calls Charles "pop". Coincidentally I actually came across a clip of this scene if anyone's interested in watching it. It's on HBO YouTube channel.

Also, at the beginning when Charles says to Logan that he gave him a family and Logan responds with "and they're gone now." I almost broke right then.

"Whats her special ability, eating food, throwing a lead pipe?"

"As I live and breathe, the wolverine!"

"Thats not a choo-choo"

"I always know who you are, it's just that sometimes I don't recognise you."

"Daddy..."

This ****ing destroyed me. Really. Girls beside me started to cry and they aren't Wolverine fans. Me and my buddy were sitting in the theater silently until the end credits ended. And we weren't waiting in hope for post-credits scene, we just sat there, shocked, and we weren't the only ones.

I love that part from Shane that's quoted...

"There's no living with... with a killing. There's no going back from one. Right or wrong, it's a brand. A brand sticks. There's no going back. Now you run on home to your mother, and tell her... tell her everything's all right. And there aren't any more guns in the valley."

There's so many memorable lines in this film. In fact, I think "Don't be what they made you." will become this decade's "You either die a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become the villain."

Patrick Stewart doing his best to speak Spanish to Laura was also very great.

There were so many good ones, but 'Daddy' and 'don't be what they made you' hit me hard.

Logan: "Everyone I care about gets hurt."

Laura: "I should be fine then."

This one. Definitely. That line choked me up more than both Logan and Charles' last lines (even though both of those did too). And "at least there's water" obviously. :)

Edit - I misread. Thought you mean mutants were called Flatscans.

Gotta go with this one, too.
That line is still with me.

Is there some more backstory/meaning to the "at least there's water" line that I'm not remembering or aware of? Or was it just the nicest spot he could find?

Charles and Logan were looking to escape together on a boat: the Sunseeker. It was basically their version of 'a normal life'. Finally finding some peace. Something that they never got to reach. A life that Charles realized he maybe didn't deserve, and one that Logan only briefly saw just before his death. Charles didn't get to the boat in the end, but at least there is water near where he was buried...

A theater employee at our show was telling people waiting through the credits that there was no end scene. I knew there wasn’t, but I was just like...”dude, I need a minute here...” :csad:
