Title says it all.

Moments: Harrison's big moment on the Enterprise. The prologue. Space jump. The San-Fran hustle.

[BLACKOUT]Harrison betrays the Enterprise.[/BLACKOUT]

[BLACKOUT]The Enterprise rises from the clouds.[/BLACKOUT]

[BLACKOUT]U.S.S. Vengeance's crash at Starfleet HQ.[/BLACKOUT]

[BLACKOUT]Kirk's "death".[/BLACKOUT]

Lines: "Is there anything you would not do for your family?"

[BLACKOUT]"My name is... Khan."[/BLACKOUT]

Spock: It is what you would have done.

Kirk: And this is what you would have done.

Remember SPOILER TAGS, of course!

Attack on the Starfleet command meeting. Including Pike's wordless, scared looking death, and both Spock and Kirk's reactions.

The 'Kronos' (movie spelling) ground battle, including Uhura's Klingon negotiation.

Vengeances first appearance in front of Enterprise.

Vengeance catching up to Enterprise mid-warp and blasting it.

Kirk's plea for his crew and subsequent "I'm sorry."

Kirk and Khan's space jump.

Khan, Kirk, Scotty on the Vengeance bridge. Just how damn scary Khan could be, coldly breaking Carol's leg and crushing her fathers skull, Blade Runner-esque. "You should have let me sleep".

Spock vs Khan was good.

I enjoyed:

- The scenes involving Kirk, Spock, and Bones.
- Once again, more Bones. Complaining and using the metaphors. Karl Urban as Bones is by far my favorite portrayal.
- The prologue.
- [blackout]Khan on the bridge of the Vengeance.[/blackout]
- [blackout]Spock vs Khan[/blackout]

Kirk crying over Pike's death

The Khan reveal

Khan crying about his "family"

Vengeance catching up to Enterprise mid-warp

Kirk and Khan's space jump

"You should have let me sleep!"

The whole Wrath of Khan 2.0 warp core scene and Kirk's death, especially him being scared and Spock crying. I know some people really didn't like it, but I thought it was the best part of the movie. Kirk being self-sacrificingly heroic, and then scared of dying afterwards (like Pike looked terrified as he died). I loved all the scenes where Kirk was really vulnerable and emotional here and thought Pine played it really well and definitely showed some dramatic chops.

Spock vs. Khan, especially that badass uppercut.

1. The battle on Kronos with Khan absolutely dominating everyone.(Especially when he jumps down, though I was waiting for that shot since its featured so heavily in the trailers and tv spots.)

2. "After all, no ship should go down without her captain"

3. The whole opening sequence.

4. Space Jump

5. Every IMAX shot.

Spock going after Khan and then fighting him

the klingons, and the one looked good

I also loved the homage to Sulu as [blackout]captain[/blackout].

I loved Khan's finishing move

Not so much a facepalm as a face splat.

I like how after Kirk recovered and he was talking to Spock, McCoy crankily reminded him that he and Uhura played a big role in saving his life too.

It reminded me of this exchange in Wrath of Khan when Kirk and McCoy were about to beam down to the spacelab:

Spock: "Jim, be careful."
McCoy: "WE will!"

This all of this.

"My name is.... KHAN" was my favorite above all, primarily because you just knew it was coming. The build to it in that scene was pure fan service and I loved all of it.

Loved when Spock got angry near the end. And the whole scene before that. Great emotional stuff

Got a good amount. Love the film

Seeing a little more of the big trio of Kirk, Spock, and Bones

Pike and Kirk's scenes, from the demotion and the bar scene to Pike's death which was just a crusher. I'm gonna miss Bruce Greenwood as Pike.

The dialogue that deals with the fact that starfleet had become more and more military like after the last one and how that's not what they're supposed to be about leading to Scotty resigning and Kirk deciding to capture Harrison instead of kill him.

The fantastic chemistry that the cast has with each other has only grown after the complete surprise of the last one.

The kronos scenes, including the scary looking klingon, and Harrison being a bad mother.

Sulu getting to sit in the captain's chair and lay down a serious threat. Brought me back to Star Trek VI there.

Dear lord Benedict Cumberbatch is a magnificent actor

Kirk begging for the lives of his crew, getting shut down, and then turning around and saying sorry to them. I think Young Kirk as a character really grew in this one.

The reveal of Khan had me throwing joyful curses at the screen

The space jump form ship to ship, throwing down with the security, the failed attempt at betraying Khan, and then Khan just destroying Robocop's head (You should have let me sleep!!!!), cut perfectly with Carol's scream and the shocked look on Kirk's face. Just fantastic.

Spock's Kirk like move with the torpedoes.

Good lord the enterprise losing power and falling towards earth while everybody's losing gravity and getting thrown like rag dolls was just exhilarating

The Reverse Wrath of Khan moments had me bawling like a baby. Spock screaming Khan was insane.

Speaking of which, Spock losing control and going after Khan vengefully, and then the great chase/fight that ensues. A terrific turning point in Young Spock's character.

Oh, and I loved how warp looked in this one. Like a great mix of the old ways and the new ways.

Seeing Spock absolutely lose it and go after [BLACKOUT]Khan[/BLACKOUT] after [BLACKOUT]Kirk dies.[/BLACKOUT]

Quinto actually felt like Spock this time around. He was snarky and pompous as he often was in ST09. Here, he was the cool, calculating Vulcan he was supposed to be, up until the ending.

Him finally giving into his human side was a sight to behold. That, and the beating he gave [BLACKOUT]Khan[/BLACKOUT]. So much more gratifying than Pepper killing the Mandarin, but whatever.

Scotty saving the Enterprise was great, as well as the reveal about Harrison. Cumberbatch really brought his A-game. The film, overall, was much better than it's classic predecessor.

Scotty: Its like jumping out of a moving car on the freeway into your shot glass.

Kirk: Don't worry I've done that before.

I was the only one who laughed at that exchange in the theater. Don't know why, I thought it was funny.

When Spock refuses to lower the shield and [BLACKOUT]Khan[/BLACKOUT] describes the alternative.

So many great moments. I love the emotion in the death scenes. People were sobbing in theater and the role reversal death got me a bit teary eyed.

Pike's death and Kirk's reaction was so strong.

And the way Kirk looked at Pike in the bar after he told him the good news was great. You could really tell he viewed Pike as a father figure. And that scene made Pike's death very hard to take in.

Spock's response to Kirk saying "The enemy of my enemy is my friend."

^What is that quote again?

Probably his best role since LOTR's.

-Space jump
-Enterprise rising from water/clouds
-
Kirks Death
-
Captain Pike's Death
-Just Pines/Zack's/Urban's acting performance as well as Cumberpatch's performance and Simons'.
-USS Vengeance side by side view against Enterprise.
-
Khans battle on Kronos

I think all of Harrison's dialogue was great.

Spock and Khan's chasing scene on Earth was superb. When I was watching, I was saying myself, "JJ Abrams is killing it. This guy's gonna make the greatest Star Wars film of all time." :funny:

Spock's response to Kirk saying "The enemy of my enemy is my friend."

^What is that quote again?

Something like, "A wonderful quote spoken by an Arab Prince who was then betrayed and beheaded."

I also liked that Kirk was sleeping with twin catwomen, does it make weird to be jealous.

My mom had fun pointing out that I was virtually hyperventilating over what's going to happen with Star Wars when we left this movie. :funny:

- Anytime anyone described the Klingons. They sounded so delightfully scary and evil.

- When Khan claimed to have been manipulated by Admiral Marcus. Part of me was a little disappointed that another summer villain was being squandered, but another part was impressed by the misdirection.

- Nimoy Spock telling Quinto Spock that Khan was actually the crew's greatest enemy. The rug was yanked out from under my feet for the second time.

- Khan's "A captain should always go down with his ship" line. That solidified what a scumbag he was.

[BLACKOUT]They way Harrison / Khan killed the Admiral was surprisingly brutal. In front of his daughter no less. He made Nero look like a pushover. [/BLACKOUT]

When Kirk was sitting in the bar and that pretty girl was next to him. He was about to say something to her, but then Pike suddenly sat down between the two of them and Kirk looked away sighing. Hilarious.
