All we really know is that according to Favreau as of now the movie will be about 2 hours plus or minus. There.

With X-men 3 there was a lot of lying and dodging about the run time. And with Fantastic Four it was a lot of really just poor fanboys convincing themselves it would be longer.

that's why one and two are just one movie cut in half, that's how short they both were.

Just checked if you add the two movies together it's a minute shorter than titanic.

So, it's anywhere from 5-10 minutes over 2 hours...nice.

Yeah, Marvel's movies need to be around two hours, in my opinion. I like them like that.

I don't think any movie should be under 100 minutes, anything less and I consider it a T.V. special.

Both Robocop and Darkman were under an hour forty and I loved them. It's all in how you use the time.
