You're delusional if you think it's actually getting to the point, even if they find the guy guilty. The impeachment stuff just isn't happening, and Baby Jebus'd come back down to earth and cure all our ills before this guy voluntarily resigns.
That doesn't mean he's not getting found guilty on at least some of this, he probably is. That's different to being removed being on the cards though, the Democrats aren't going to be able to pull it off. He'll either get voted out in 2020 by the public over his behavior with all of this ****, or he won't. Guilty or not guilty.
We'll see. A year can do a lot, and if Trump is perceived as a weight around the GOP, then several moderate Republican senators could drop their supports. It all depends on what Mueller comes out with, and how things shake up in a year. If you've got big GOP losses, a scathing Mueller report to congress, and an economy in decline.... then you never know. The trick is not to push for it... but to just allow it to happen naturally. Dems shouldn't even talk impeachment until Mueller comes out with his findings. And even hen... it'll basically have to be touch and go. But they shouldn't rush in... let the voters make that kind of choice, and the Democrats can work to bring it home. All the Dems need to do is listen and wait. If the voters want it, and the time is right, then do it!
But yeah... of course... all things being equal, impeachment isn't likely at all. And if the Dems don't have the votes to oust him, then they shouldn't even try. We don't need Trump to become the next Clinton.
