Again, you don't light massive tyrefires right on the border as intentional visibility cover and then try to cross it, without expecting the IDF to do more than sit there with their thumbs up their asses.

You intentionally incite a military response, they kill a bunch of your belligerents, then you cry foul. This is deliberate strategy by Hamas brass, not a bunch of random farmers getting shot for waving signs.

It's not going to happen, that's not what he's getting at. It's directed at private-sector European companies who are weighing whether or not it's worth doing business with Iran in the face of U.S. sanctions. It's to try to tip the balance for them and their decision in favor of isolating Iran too, no matter whether technically their own European governments allow them to deal with them if they want to.

Schtick? I believe it was the PA SCOTUS that ruled their gerrymandered districts to be unconstitutional forcing a redrawing of the lines.

This is something that both parties have done anytime they come to power in a given state which is the major reason it's never really been seriously addressed.

Note above the oddly shaped districts surrounding Pittsburgh on the southwest of the map — the 12th and 18th — and the truly bizarre mess around Philadelphia on its east side, especially the contortionist 6th and 7th districts.

Ugly-looking districts don’t always point to gerrymandering, but in this case, they do — Republicans tried to pack Democratic-leaning areas together into very few districts while surrounding the state’s big cities with districts Republicans would win comfortably.

To get a sense of how powerful Pennsylvania’s gerrymander was, consider that in 2012, Democratic candidates won slightly more votes in US House elections and Barack Obama won the state. But the state’s 18 House seats didn’t split 9-9 between the parties — instead, Republicans won 13 seats there, and Democrats just won five. No seats changed partisan hands in the 2014 or 2016 elections, either.

But this January, the state Supreme Court — which has a Democratic majority — struck down the existing map as a partisan gerrymander that, a majority of justices wrote, violated the state constitution. The Republican state legislature and Gov. Tom Wolf (D) failed to agree on a new map, so the court instituted one itself.

The new map, below, looks cleaner, splits fewer counties, and will likely lead to many more competitive elections:

As a South African I can admit that's unequivocally true, but it's probably prudent to point out that black South Africans never fired RPG's from the townships into Afrikaner neighborhoods, and to this day the majority of them don't actively plot, discuss, or fantasize about the annihilation of the white race.

As an aside, this entire Jerusalem debacle seems more and more to be an orchestrated move by Trump (and Netanyahu, potentially?) to stir up **** in the region and to incite more military engagement. While things weren't improving as fast as they should have before, there wasn't such intense violence before Trump started interfering, he's really the catalyst behind this renewed bout of violence.

He's still ultimately the guy that gives a lot of the minions license to cause this kind of havoc, so he must take responsibility and be accountable for allowing this madness to continue.

Kushner is a sideshow, Netanyahu is the problem. To be honest considering how many factional alliances and hatreds their are in the ME there are a bunch of Israel's Muslim allies that could (and should) be helping to facilitate reconciliation or at least a ceasefire in the territories, but because Islam is so fractured itself nobody is willing to do that. Everyone likes to pretend like all the Muslim nations see Israel as a blight, but there's a lot more of the "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" nonsense within Islamic denominations that are perfectly fine with Israel being at Iran's throats and treating Palestinians terribly.

There are a lot of parties at fault for the perpetuation of the humanitarian crisis there, Trump and Netanyahu primary among them because they're the two with the power to stop it, but there are peripheral parties not coming to the party either that also need to be held to account. Idealist progressives often like harping on about Muslim solidarity, they should be asking neighboring countries to grow up and participate in constructive discourse about a solution and show some of that solidarity with the Palestinians.

As someone who has end stage renal disease and has gone through a kidney transplant, some kidney surgeries are outpatient and you're up and out of there quickly, while others will have you in the hospital for awhile. If they are removing something from the kidney, it's probably outpatient. If the kidney had to be removed, thats a bit more recovery time.
