I thought he knew nothing about those 'simple private transactions'?

Called hush money by everyone else, lol.

So, it turns out no one wants to be Chief of Staff to the toddler. Ayers noping out apparently threw their plans out the window.

Comey testified with the stipulation that the full transcript be made public.

Good to know, although I doubt Cheetoh actually read the transcript since it was more than 1 page long and didn't have a place where he could color in pictures.

Last night's/this morning's twitter ramblings:

What exactly has he accomplished in two years besides his tax cut? He got two SC Justices after one was stolen by the Turtle, and they had to blow up the Senate rules to get it. He wiped out an entire year of market gains thanks to his tariffs and erratic behavior, something he doesn't acknowledge even though he fully took credit for its rise.

I guess in his mind the unemployment is under 5% so that's all that counts.

Trump Can't Spell: A Complete History of the 45th President of the United States.

Apparently, Trump is circling conservative Mark Meadows as Kelly's replacement.

With a Tea Party nutjob in place, the WH will be even more chaotic.

So, who gets the blame for the falling stock market?

So, Marina Butina is agreeing to pleading guilty to something. Will likely find out later.

Also, looks like the NRA is getting caught up in the illegal campaign coordination with the Trump campaign.

I can't imagine why anyone would want to work in the White House right now. :p

Everyone who has worked in the Trump Whitehouse and subsequently left has been harshly burned by the experience.

That headline had me excited for a second there! Screenshot_20181210-151835.png

Maria Butina Agrees to Cooperate With U.S.

Maria Butina, a Russian national who cultivated relationships with powerful American conservative activists, agreed Monday to plead guilty to conspiring to violate laws prohibiting covert foreign agents. As part of her agreement, which was reviewed by The Daily Beast, she has promised to cooperate with American law enforcement.

As a result of the deal, Butina will become the first Russian national since the 2016 election to plead guilty to a crime connected to efforts to influence American politics. After running a gun rights organization in Russia, she moved to the United States, where she spent years building relationships with conservatives in hopes of influencing a future Republican presidential administration. During the campaign season, she questioned then-candidate Donald Trump about sanctions; built relationships in the upper echelons of the American gun rights community; arranged for NRA leaders to travel to Moscow; and bragged that she was a channel between Team Trump and the Kremlin, as The Daily Beast first revealed.

She also struck up a romance with Paul Erickson, a longtime Republican gadfly close to NRA leaders. He sang Disney songs with her on camera, called her his “Siberian princess” in emails reviewed by The Daily Beast, and—since her July arrest—has visited her regularly in jail.

I wonder what Putin's play is, beyond just attempting to make Trump even more unhinged. Because a Russian agent won't just flip, especially with Putin assassinating other nationals in other countries.

Has Putin ever assassinated an incarcerated witness on american soil? Maybe she thinks she is beyond his reach. Or that he isnt stupid enough to assassinate someone onAmerican soil that is incarcerated and part of a major investigation.

I doubt that she gets taken out by Putin's intel services at this point in time. The damage is done and he's likely to have taken the precautions already to minimize whatever the fallout would be of her talking to American law enforcement and intelligence. Thus the retirement, whatever that means, of her mentor.

The thing about this case is it's bigger than Trump in it's scope though it does touch on how it's obvious that Putin's Russia was in the tank for him. In 2012 the NRA put up around $12 million in support of the then GOP candidate, Romney. In 2016 the NRA gave around $30 million, at least twice as much more. It's looking like that money may well have come from Russian interests. So there's the connection to Trump but more broadly we see a concerted effort by Putin to gain influence in the NRA and then to project that out into the Republican Party proper.

Someone needs to edit Trump into the Pocahontas song, Paint with the colors of the wind. I was thinking how fitting, and hilarious it would be.

Pocahontas singing, "You think the only people who are people, are the people, are the ones who look, and think like you!". Then his response being, with a dopey face edited in, " I know Pocahontas." Given he calls Warren Pocahontas, there are plenty of clips to choose from.

Last night's/this morning's twitter tanTrumps:
(the key words there - if nothing else - being "when he left the FBI"... Trump fired him before he got very far in the investigation)

and last (but certainly not least) - where would we be without a cry of fake news having it wrong:
