He just made empty promises. Anyone who thinks he actually gives a **** about lowering HIV rates or curing cancer is delusional. There isn't a single thing he's done since he took office that would help solve any of these problems. And we know he doesn't care about abortion. He's just pandering to the lowest common denominator in the US. The guy brags about sexual assault. He would absolutely pay to have a woman abort his illegitimate child.

He read off of a teleprompter. Whoop de do.

Pence standing up and applauding Trump talking about fighting HIV is pretty laughable considering as Governor of Indiana Pence slashed funding for that very thing (he suggested the money would be better served funding conversion therapy, because apparently he thinks only gay people get HIV when actually the majority in Indiana were from dirty needles) and lo and behold, then they had an HIV epidemic.

Particularly weak spots for Trump were his complaining about investigations, considering them intolerable and so just making himself look guilty, and that he tried to brag about both spending around $1.4 trillion on the military in two years and that he got European allies to spend $100 billion, if the latter is impressive the former is particularly insane, clearly way, way too much.
