Lindsey has pretty much proven if Trump told him to dig up the body of his "best friend" John McCain and dump it in a landfill, he'd do it.

And for what? Because he's terrified of getting primaried by some Trump henchman? Because somebody, whether Trump himself or the Russians, have some kompromat on him and if he doesn't play ball they'll throw open his see-through closet door?

An American President would rather the media spend a day talking about how racist he is then about how corrupt he is. Can't go much lower than that.

Don't forget...

Today should be fun.

As a millennial, I find it hard to believe that the Republican Party isn’t turning an entire generation of voters against them. Unless something catastrophic happens, I see “Republican” being a dirty word come 2030.

These idiots are actually...and I can’t believe I’m saying this...appropriating the contextual and historical meanings of the word “lynching” to describe and defend the most corrupt President I’ve ever known. And for what? Short-term gains? The damage they’ve done to our country is significant, but...it can and will be undone. It’ll take time, effort, and patience, but I truly don’t doubt that it will be. Because most people - but especially the ones who’ll eventually come into power - recognize these people for the spineless, evil, reprehensible cowards they are.

I’m an agnostic, but if there’s any reason to hope that there’s a God, it’s so that I can be secure in the knowledge that these people will burn in Hell.

Good point here about how Trump is unconcerned with details. And an interesting analogy made with Van Halen's no brown M&Ms clause.

Which is why we have to be extra vigilant, because Republicans have no problem cheating, and they have the rich behind them.

Quite.

I thought it was enough to just be politically knowledgeable; now I feel that I need to get involved in activism. I don’t even know where to start with that, but it has to be done.

It's exactly this:

We need some little boy to point out the obvious to everyone who is deluding themselves, just like with the Emperor's new clothes.

And this is an interesting article on that phenomenon:

The Emperor’s New Clothes: Trump, The Media and the Problems of Pluralistic Ignorance
Lol, :p

Except this “mob” can’t even get the facts because the WH is refusing to cooperate.
When I asked my parents why Trump was stonewalling Congress if he's innocent. They pulled out the Whatabout card with Biden and the Clintons. They believe the nonsense that Hillary had Ukraine frame Russia.
