I've actually never watched a live Trump speech before. The way he's talking... the flitting between subjects at whiplash speed, the rambling and confused look he had on his face while others were talking....

Strongly reminds me of how my father acts.... and he's being tested right now for a form of dementia

Same exact thing on my end. Almost the exact same mannerisms and speech patterns as well.

Wonder if Cohen tried to get assurances from Trump about a pardon... and when it never came, that's why he cut the pleas deal and dropped Trump in it over Stormy and the other chick?

But here's the real political questions:

1. Can Democrats take the House?
2. Can conspiracy to commit campaign finance violations (+ a possible emoluments argument and obstruction of justice) qualify as a "high crime or misdemeanor?"

It can be and the Democrats probably will if they do win the House.

3. Can Democrats take the Senate?
4. Can the Democrats find enough Republicans who would vote to expel Trump if the House impeached him?

No sure on 3 but no on 4. If the Democrats do win the Senate but pretty narrowly the Republicans are likely to, being worried but not panicking, feel and be more united and more defensive of Trump. I doubt they could get 10-11 Republicans to agree to remove Trump, let alone more if they needed more.

With lying under oath about an affair not being considered an impeachable offense, illegally paying money to cover up an affair doesn't seem particularly more outrageous but it would be pretty darkly funny if that was, with parties reversed, the very next thing to try to remove a president for.

We went through how many investigations and hearings on Benghazi and turned up not one shred of evidence of wrongdoing. But you can’t take two steps in any direction without stepping into some criminal or unethical activity by Cheetoh.

He was impeached. Being impeached does not necessarily mean being removed from office. Ask the only other president to be impeached, Andrew Jackson.
