The Terrorist Dictator adminstration will be poor Nicky and Dominic soon enough.

Trump's "presidential library" should be a huge empty building with just one thing in the very middle of the building: the fake Times magazine he displays at his golf courses.

Seriously tho his library will probably just be his "memorabilia" (MAGA hats etc.) and anything he can find that praises him.

As hilarious as that would be. I'd actually prefer if it was filled with his accomplishments.

The picture of the crying immigrant girl that had been ripped from her parents. A looping video of the unite the right Charlottesville racists holding tiki torches, with a from Trump narration saying, "Very fine people". A pic of him smiling at Kim Jong Un, and Putin, next to pics of him smirking, or sneering at our allies. An article of the jobs his trade war cost, next to an article about how we're 2 trillion further in debt thanks to the wealthy tax cut. A picture of government workers in line for food. Or a picture of soiled wild life habitat national monuments he sold off for drilling. Video of the disabled people being dragged out while begging their congressmen not to take away their life saving healthcare.

There's plenty of accomplishments you can put up. Just not flattering ones. I really can't see history being kind to Trump.

Yeah... I'm not willing to accept that he'll get a library just yet. There's still time... and if there's any justice... this presidency will be something we end up ashamed of... not something we want to commemorate. We'll see.

Personally I hope he build a library in Florida. Right on the coast. So that someday when the sea levels rise it will be one of the first things destroyed. Tho I'll happily settle for a hurricane turning it to kindling. Preferably a hurricane named Raoul or Jorge.

I'm late on this, but just felt like chiming in. Ivanka saying Americans don't want job security, and basically railing against minimum wage still irks me. The way she almost sounded like she was saying it was unearned pay.

I worked at a minimum wage factory right after high school. I wore holes in my shoes, got blisters on my feet, and worked through lunch break. I worked much harder than the pay. Minimum wage wasn't being given to me as a grace, I earned it. Luckily I earn more than that now. I'm not even sure how you can make it on $7.50 an hour anymore. I think it was $5.25 when I worked there, so it hasn't risen much.

So many people take this, "poor Ivanka, leave her alone" stance. Normally I agree, children of presidents should be off the table. But once they insert themselves into the discourse, they're free to criticize like the rest of us. Especially when they imply from their golden high horse that Americans don't want minimum wage, because they haven't earned it.

"Americans don't want to be handed a minimum, they want to earn it".

1) Suggesting people on minimum wage don't "earn" it.

2) Coming from someone who's never earned anything and been handed everything by her dad who blatantly wants to **** her and frankly comes off like she might welcome it.

Reminder, she is a part of the administration. Thus, just as subject to criticism as any other person that works in the White House.

She is clearly a rich *******.

Ivanka's tonal quality really weirds me out honestly. It feels so Steppford Housewife-esque. Yeah, I know she's a member of the family and so we should be respectful of her in regards to personal attacks... but I don't know what to say, the lady creeps me out. That whisper voice feels so staged and fake. And in my conspiracy theory mind, it comes across almost like how a traumatized person would come across. Someone who kind of walled off her personality, and is now more of an emotional robot. I don't know.. maybe it's just confirmation bias on my part.

But yeah, it certainly is ironic that a woman who was literally handed everything, criticizes people for wanting a hand out. It's something to behold.

Bull****. She joined up with the administration. She is fair game. She has an office at the White House. She is being sent as an official representative of our nation. She does not get a pass.

I mean, I agree. I still thinks it's good manners to stick with policy though. I don't want to attack her as a person. A lot of us are weird and all that... and I don't necessarily blame her for saying 'yes' to the position and the benefits her father has given her. But with her... it just sticks out. She seems off to me. Something feels... weird.

"Americans don't want to be handed a minimum wage, they want to earn it".

Has an uncomfortable similarity to "Black people didnt want freedom. They liked being slaves."

I hesitate to equate the two, but with the severe income inequality in this country and the fact that abolishing minimum wage could literally kill and sicken millions that live paycheck to paycheck maybe it's not such a radical comparison to make.

This idea that folks only work for money is a false conception, IMO. Like, there are other motivators in life.... authority, power, recognition, contribution, etc. In fact, money is one of the less effective motivators... once one feels secure.

This idea that people need to be whipped or starved in order to be motivated is part of the problem. It makes sense that someone who's measured her entire life by how much wealth she accumulates would have trouble with that idea. Our goal should be to make everyone food and home secure, so we get out of the rat race and start moving past the selfish, financial forms of motivation.

Pie in the sky? Yeah... but the Gene Roddenbury revolution should be the goal, someday down the road. It reminds me of a meme I saw, where it's like.. "don't let anyone tell you that there's no jobs out there. People are starving, people don't have homes, our streets are filthy, etc. There are plenty of jobs to be done. The problem is that we haven't figured out how to give people a paycheck for doing those jobs."

I dont wanna waste my time too much with Ivanka, she is your typical "Daddys rich girl".
She is dumb as a rock while she thinks herself to be so "woke" and smart, only is where she is because of her Father and has nothing to offer on her own.

The only difference between her and her father is that she isnt that much of a loudmouth and Narcissist...but that is not saying much.

Give any of that family the salary of a regular family where both parents work and kids don’t have nannies or private schools and they won’t even last a month. They probably couldn’t go grocery shopping without blowing their budget.

Ivanka, Don Jr, and Eric are all fair game IMO. Ivanka because she's active in the administration, and the other two because they go out of their way to support it. None of them get a pass.

Yeap, the only one who gets a pass is Tiffany. For all I know, she supports her dad's policies 100%, but she's not out there trying to sell them like a snake oil salesman or act like she has influence over him.

Let's see what tweets we've gotten in the last 15 hours or so. Some are just quoting other people
(oh, it's the Dem's, not you, obstructing justice :whatever:)

We don't need to respect her. Maybe when she does something worthy of respect, but until then, she's just a byproduct of nepotism who is complicit in every horrible thing her father does, yet the media tries to portray her as the "calming voice that Trump listens to." Oh, really? Bang up job so far, Ivanka. Take a look at his ****ing Twitter feed just TODAY.

**** her. The only positive thing I can say about her is that she's not quite as repulsive a person as her A-hole brother (pick one).

All I'm saying, is that I take no joy in attacking her personally. Normally, I'd try to avoid that kind of thing. I criticize Trump for his personality all the time, because he is truly a different breed of politician - his personality is actually part of the problem.

Normally, I'd just say... 'everyone is a little odd' and not attack her as a person. But, like I said, she is uniquely creepy to me. Her voice is absolutely bizarre, and it does make me wonder if she was abused somehow.

I feel kind of dirty saying that sort of stuff. I don't like to get into palace intrigue and all that. But the Trumps are uniquely awful, so I guess all rules are off.

Yeah, I agree... she acts and talks like a robot. And while I normally wouldn’t attack a politician’s children, Trump’s offspring are adults who have put themselves in the conversation multiple times (Trump Jr., or Traitor-Tot has been on a crusade to show the world that he’s as big of an ***hole has his father), so they deserve any of the crap they get. I haven’t said anything negative about Barron, because he’s a child. But the rest of Trump’s kids are fair game.
