Honestly if I’m Putin I probably question how reliable he is anyway. Everyone knows he lies as easy and he breathes and only says what he thinks people want to hear as long as it makes him look good.

Don't forget the massive, massive DoD hack the Russians accomplished. Putin doesn't need Trump, really. And in fact, for his goals, it is best if Trump goes to jail. As he will become a martyr to the cult.

A Republican with Trump’s views but is better equipped to “get things done” is absolutely, 100% not an improvement. Literally the only saving grace the last four years with Trump is his incompetence.
Do Nothing Dems at it again. :o

I don't know if I'd even refer to it as incompetence (although competent isn't a word I would use to describe him). I think it's more that he is blind to appearance because he thinks his view of reality is the only one that matters. For a large group of people, it's true, but as he moved more and more into the realm of delusion, he lost some people along the way.

Improvement... I guess.

Yep, this is why, Dems need to stop trying to pivot to the center and try to appeal to moderate Republicans with traditional Neoconservative economic policies. The era of small government is over. Neoconservative economic policies are even being rejected the Republican Party itself, which is Trump won the 2016 primary and why Trumpism remains incredibly popular among Republicans, even if Trump himself is on the outs. The Republican white working class base is looking for leaders who will make big promises to change the status quo and improve their lives. It is why they bought into Trump's lies about bringing back coal or manufacturing with tariffs, etc. and other strongarm government tactics.

The fiscally conservative, socially liberal ideology of Biden, Pelosi and other Establishment Dems is a dead religion. If they don't move on from it and pivot to strong progressive economic policies that yield tangible rewards for the working class, they are going to be shut out of power again by 2024. The Liberal Party in Canada learned this over 5 years ago and it why Trudeau is able to hang onto power despite multiple cabinet, influence, and blackface scandals.

Kamala is the frontrunner for 2024 and then Cuomo. Unless Warren or another Progressive miraculously pulls through. My hopes are not high. Kamala is to fluid with her beliefs for me to trust her.

Cuomo? Is he even planning to run? I thought he wasn't interested in that.

Polling based on who people would vote for the 2024 nominee. AOC and Buttigeig didn't even break into the double digits.

A close friend of mine who is an attorney in SF knows her. He told me years ago (when she worked for the DA's office) that she was an okay attorney and a great politician. I didn't even know who she was at the time, but he told me to keep an eye on her. I'm thinking he might have been on to something.

Yeah, that is actually why I have hope she might pivot to the left for 2024 if she reads that is where the winds are blowing like she did with BLM (despite being part of the problem for so long). Her lack of principles might work out in our best interests. Biden, on the other hand, has actual beliefs and positions, which he is unfortunately sticking with. :funny:

Yeah, she's slippery for sure. I think her fundamental beliefs lean left, but she's gonna do whatever she has to do in order to get elected. While Joe and I disagree on a lot, I think what he's doing now is drawing a distinct line between his and Trump's administration. What I've heard from his camp recently gives me some hope and I find myself in general agreement with virtually everything he's said (recently). In addition, his support for a massive infrastructure plan gives me yet more hope. My fear is my hopes will, once again, be crushed.

Cuomo couldn't have made it more clearer that he's not interested in running for president.
