I am halfway through the episode and I have to come to the conclusion that I would have preferred a series set around the military during the beginning of the zombie apocalypse.

... or at least an episode. When the other episode ended with the military showing up, I wouldn't have minded if the next episode was about them. I think it would have been interesting to see them & if for no other reason, it would mean a break from the family

Does anyone else think Madison saying to Liza that if she ever turns into one of them, to kill her and not let Travis do it...sounds like major foreshadowing for Madison's fate in the season finale??? Only reason I ask is cause we now know that Liza is ok with doing that because of Griselda... And in the trailer for the season finale it looks like she might be bit when we hear her scream... Would be pretty brazen for them to kill off her character as a catalyst for the second season but would definitely up the ante...

Watching it now. I realize they have a budget. But does it strike anyone else as odd that they don't have any grenades, or grenade launchers, or any ordinances to hit the horde with?

honestly it felt like there was no one in charge or in command there at all, just pockets of soldiers at different posts. Guess it's their training but I really don't get how those soldiers didn't have a better escape plan, with them knowing just how bad things were out there

Good finale. I liked it when Depp told his mom that everyone else was catching up to him. Nice house, nice zombie boat.
