i wasnt that satisfied with the last episode. some strange decisions throughout the episode.
trask letting the tortured soldier go because he feared for his life, but letting 2000 zombiez loose on a military camp knowing what the consequences will be is somehow ok. also no plan on how to escape when they would find his son.
overall, the whole series is kinda weak.
and seeing how it ended i assume they would all board the big yacht and stay safe.

So we assume. He likely did die in the library but I still adhere to the rule that unless (and sometimes even then) you see someone die on screen they are not truly dead and might have a deus ex machina return to explain away their certain off screen death.

Undoubtedly. Dude was already halfway to warlordism when we met him; I'll bet the next time we run across him he'll be all the way there.

dang, this thing is over already? I was under the assumption that it would go longer into the fall

I just finished watching the first episode of FTWD......color me unimpressed. Junkies and sullen teenagers texting and pouting about how nobody understands them......give me a break.

when i think about it, it would have been better to see the beginning of the apocalypse through the eyes of the military instead of regular people. you can kind of get the idea what people went through in walking dead and the stories told by different survivors.
yet it would be interesting to see what happened to the military force, the navy.
even in walking dead they should still exist since so many bases are well protected that no amount of zombies would get through.

after the last episode of FTWD i would expect the main characters to board the yacht and live happily ever after. they have food in the sea and a yacht that big probably has its own water making system. so not sure what will happen in season 2.

We'll see the military response in the second spin off series, Retread of the Walking Dead.

Not feeling this show at all. I've got one episode left and I'm seriously struggling through it. The first two episodes were alright and then it just teetered off into nothingness. Six episodes was plenty of time to delve into lots of material, and they just sort of stretched two episodes into six. Bleh.

I couldn't really get into Fear The Walking Dead either, while I appreciate what they were trying to do I think it could have been done better. Maybe season 2 will find it's footing.

I feel lied to, honestly. The concept of seeing society slowly break down is not at all how it was executed. They just kind of zoomed in on this house and then jumped foward, where crap has already hit the fan. They're all stuck on one film set, and we're under this microscope instead of actually SEEING the world.

I think I hate it, actually.

I was actually hoping to see uncontrolled riots, the recently deceased spilling out from busy hospitals etc. The news going crazy, people fleeing for their lives. This is a quote from the film 28 Days Later;

"I remember my dad had all this cash. He thought maybe we could buy our way onto a plane, even though cash was completely useless. Ten thousand other people had the same idea. The crowd was surging. I lost my grip on my sister's hand. I remember the ground felt very soft, and I saw I was standing on people. People who had fallen. Like a carpet. There were infected in the crowd- it spread fast. You couldn't get away, you could only climb, climb over more people. So I did that. So I climbed, I climbed on top of more people. I got up on top of this kiosk. Looking down you couldn't tell which faces were infected and which weren't. Then I saw my dad. Not my mom or my sister. My dad. I saw his face... Selena's right. You should be grateful."

The concept they had for this was gold: "What happened while Rick was in a coma?", and they just didn't execute it right.

The other thing is that Kim Dickens' character doesn't look shocked or concerned by ANYTHING she's seeing.

I'll give season 2 a watch because I figure the worst they could do was already done in season 1. I think the finale picked up enough to justify that much. But you are right, they totally did drop the ball on what they promised.

Finally watched the first episode, tbh I thought it was just pointless. Didn't feel like it was in the same world as The Walking Dead (I know it's set before but still there should be a consistent feel given they're in the same universe) and I didn't like any of the characters. I will watch the rest though with it only been six episodes. I just hope it improves massively.

The first season was strange, because anybody died until episode 6. In this episode i thought "finally, this city was very safe". They should kill the Alicia and Cris, they are boring and stupid.

In the apocalypse zumbi, you know about the infected and, even knowing that your boyfriend is a zumbi, you will visit him... seriously?
Besides, in the next episode, you, that loved much your boyfriend already forgot and is searching a new boyfriend, your middle-brother.

But, taking off this things, the serie is nice, Madison is interesting, Nick is a crazy-boy, but the scenes with him are the best tension of the serie. Ofelia also was a character inteligent, with a lot of consistent problems ...

#FeartheWalkingDead: Season 2 begins Sunday, April 10th. #TalkingDead will now follow every episode. #TCA16

#FearTheWalkingDead S2 will premiere on 4/10: seven eps in spring, 8 more later in 2016. #TCA16

Did I read it right that Hulu will have the rights for season 2? And not HBO like with season 1?

I wasn't expecting this to return in April. Game of Thrones is really going to put a dent in its ratings.

I wasn't impressed with season 1 as a whole but I plan on giving season 2 a shot anyway. Hopefully season 2 will be an improvement.

Well Season 2 was well into production by the time the Season 1 finale aired. My guess would've been a Summer premiere but not complaining. I'm guessing the 2nd half will air sometime after the mid-season finale of TWD.

I think the 2nd half of FTWD season 2 will air just before TWD season 7 premiere. Probably will run from Aug.-Oct. as season 1 did last year.
