I think the 2nd half of FTWD season 2 will air just before TWD season 7 premiere. Probably will run from Aug.-Oct. as season 1 did last year.

I Fear this show'll bring down the mythos of Walking Dead in general.

People will look back and be like, "Why did I watch that show?" It's unfair. It's like they're forcing us to watch it, knowing we're lemmings. Lol.

They're doing everything in their power to make you not feel forced to watch it. Promised no origin for the outbreak, no characters from the original show. Walking Dead gets like 5 times the ratings of their other shows at the very last, of course they're gonna try a similar formula again, but they've been as accommodating as possible to the people who might not want to watch it.

Yeah, it's not like The Flash and Arrow, which have these annoying two-part crossover episodes that force you to watch the other character's show.

And they intend to have even more spinoffs in the future although they haven't announced any yet.

They should do one in a cold weather climate.

Watching FTWD was one of my biggest regrets of 2015. Everything about it was so weak. From the lame episode where no walker was present to the lame grandpa who kept telling you "you don't know yet...blah blah blah" it was just bad.

I couldn't really get into the first season of Fear The Walking Dead, but I'll give the second season a chance.

Same. I might tune in for the first two episodes but this will be DVR fodder once Game of Thrones returns. That's what happened with the first season; I just recorded them all and binge watched it right before The Walking Dead came back in October.
