The Asgardian Gods are currently "dead" in the Marvel Universe...it's possible that the enchantment about being worthy died with Odin...we'll find out soon enough, i imagine.

There's gotta be something up. I mean, i think Doom is great. He's my favorite villian and I think he's one of the greatest characters in the history of comics. He has his own nobility and honor, but I just can't see him picking up the hammer when people like Tony Stark and Peter Parker couldn't. No matter how honorable Doom is, he's still a villain and a ruthless dictator-and he's an enemy of Thor's to boot.

I sure hope he doesn't end up being the one who kills the FF members who die (until somebody brings them back). I really hope he doesn't do it with the hammer.

Good point Kurosawa but neither SPider-man or Ironman ever tried to lift the hammer i dont think. And i doubt they view themselves as 100% nobil or honorable, but Doom is cockey enough to think he is so maybe thats all that is needed.

Agreed. I have no doubt Doom will beat the holy crap out of the FF. Marvel has said that they are bringing Thor back. What better way than have HIM come back and fight Doom for ownership of Mjolner?

It's okay, but WHY?? Why not just reprint the first one with a different color logo? The Hitch one is nice, but compared to the glorious "Doom triumphant" cover, it looks third rate.
