The Dark Knight Filming Started?

Okay, just so we're clear, I have no idea whether there's anything in this and most likely, there isn't. If they are doing any filming, it's preliminary external shots and nothing else.

I spotted this today:

EDIT: Apparently, this probably just second-unit work. Still, nice to see the show is getting on the road, so to speak.

exactly! she was RUMORED, but had not officially signed on. for all we know, Nolan could have/will cast someone else as Rachel, or it could be an entirely new female character.

L.A. was mentioned as one of the locations before...perhaps they're just doing a certain scene there with just The Joker and Batman? Seems like if it was the main part of filming starting already with all of the cast present there would be more noise about it.
