that was awesome, i guess stillanerd's speculation was right afterall i was so glad to see chamel's even if it was for a little cameo. now im even more hyped for season 3 and that last part of the episode was an homage to the first movie and did anybody hear the reference to Mac Gargan?

Well stillanerd was sort of right anyway, just switch the roles of chameleon and Norman.

Explain the Mac Gargan reference, please...in spoiler tags, of course.

Norman (or rather Chameleon) was on the phone with Gargan, who was getting the information on where Mekin lived.

that was the most awesomest, best, amazing, season finale for a cartoon I have ever seen, I mean I was literally on the edge of my seat. I swear if this doesn't get picked up for a third season, someone give me the closest goblin glider and pumpkin bombs and point towards disney.

Favorite line in the show...

Harry: You don't think the goblin could be...*gasps* MOM?!?

Oh man, gotta resist those spoiler tags. Come on youtube!

They really need to make this show longer than 13 episodes a season, what am I supposed to do now with no Spectacular Spider-Man new episodes and The Clone Wars ending this Friday! Ugh!

OK... I am left with no words how to summarize this episode. I can just say that whenever I dreamed of a Spidey show as a kid I could have never even thought of such greatness myself. This show lives up to his name and even beyond that. It was a mythical finale to these two seasons.

Every question and mystery we had about the Osborn family and the Green Goblin was answered, I personally didn't expect that, but they even got the WTF look of the Goblin when he saw Chameleon. I always said that reaction was not natural and normal, even for our psychedelic lunatic. There was even a nod to Emily, I just loved that and it brought a smile on my face remembering all those posts here about Emily being the Goblin.

Goblin never reached this greatness even in the comics, the films I will not even mention, The set up at the balcony, it started there, and then the madness continued throughout the city. Gobby or Osborn was the ultimate villain of this show. He never stopped working... he even bobby trapped the whole city and assembled an army preparing for this glorious battle. He hired even Chameleon, and I love that Chameleon is a professional in this show. Yet again he escapes.

Everything else was perfect. They managed to put everything in this episode and to sum up all the most important things that happened this season. Now we are left with one long wait for the order of the next season, for which I hope comes soon This show cannot end like this!

Could someone post some more spoilers in regards to Peter/Liz/Gwen? Thanks!

peter finally opens up with gwen and she admit she in love with him since some grade, they almost kiss but she doesnt want to do it behind harry and liz backs,so tell him to break up with liz, outside harry listen everything and is pissed.
peter wants to break with liz,but she is surprised and heartbroken, she sees everyone dating and to mantain her status furiously break up with peter instead, then go alone in a corner to cry alone (here i though harry would come up to her BUT)
later, harry whos been missing talk to gwen and maliciously says that she is the only thing that stop him from get into the addiction again, only to guilty her up to him, and gwen doesnt break with harry.
so peter in like we say here "in the ****".
i really feel sorry for liz even after being compreensive for his missings she got the kick.

Explain the Mac Gargan reference, please...in spoiler tags, of course.

norman (actually chameleon as norman) speak on the phone with a informant, who he refers as gargan.

won't be able to watch this until i get off work, but wow. this episode sounds like a perfect 10.

Just in case you didn't know:

Gargan becomes the Scorpion.

So, was Norman also using a form of the Globulin Green to enhance himself or was it all gadgetry? Did he let Harry use the Globulin to see what would happen?

yeah he knew harry took it to enhance his abilities for football, and like in the movies he went into the chamber but used the Globulin Green as a gas, but did it multiple times but less dosage so he would have control of it rather than Harry being addicted to it.

Norman was taking the green in gas form, like in the movie, it enhanced his strength and intelligence. He didn't know Harry was drinking the stuff till later on.

EDIT: Ah see you already beat me to it.

Also maybe the effect is different when you take it through your lungs, just like Scarecrow's toxins in Batman Begins.

So, did they explain why Norman decided to go out into the field himself? It seems OOC for him

Uh how exactly is it out of character for him?

I mean, it seemed strange that this version of Norman would put himself in danger by experimenting on himself, putting on a costume and going out to fight his own battles like that. It would be like if Tombstone experimented on himself or something. It's why I always figured that he was brainwashing Harry into doing it all for him.

^^Haven't seen the episode yet, but I'd figure that the character in question simply didn't trust anyone else enough to let them in on it.

im guessing he is as power-hungry as every other mob boss, just a little less sane than the others lol but that intelligence boost from the green gave him a great edge to the others.

I think we are all aware of that but uh thanks anyway..

I wasn't and now I feel like the whole things been ruined, I mean even after 100 and plus issues of spider-man, easy to find information on all the villains on the web, the 90s series, after all that. I never knew that...;)
